Something isn’t adding up here.

We look way too heavy at 3T and CB (especially if Goodwin returns), and too light at OL and LB.

Surely we are going to package one of our 3Ts for a C or something?

He's like Bayless Jr. He won't have a career in a couple of years, because there's no substance there.
not as loud, but it's humorous watching him walk around like he is Madden on a giant iPad. This isn't about him being critical of the Cowboys signings it's the I know it all tone in the voice which I cringe at. Shockingly, I agree with SAS and his take on Dak more than Orlovsy and his protectionism of fellow QB's...not even sure you can even call him a QB, lol

Only odd move to me was activating Lewis now.

Dallas has a handful of options at slot corner without Lewis, and he has yet to really practice yet.
We have literally only one true slot in Bland.

Muku is a safety and wasn’t doing well in preseason in the slot. There’s only 4 proven CB’s anyway, saying we have a handful of options outside of them is based on pure speculation.

Finally, mates, a stake through the heart of Alarcon's (practice squad) and Bohanna's mediocrity.

Cutting Davis was a mistake. (He'll be picked up)
Good riddance to McKeon.
At least we are rid of one Fehoko.
We cut Jabril Cox. And Jefferson. What, like we are stacked at LB?
Farniok will be picked up soon.

Who's are backup Center?
Don't know that one, ALSO who is our LS? I think it was Trent Sieg, but now the DC roster doesn't show his name anywhere????
Are we missing a LS AND a backup C??

I hate to think Mike is so dumb that he’d prefer a 28 year old journeyman as his #3 developmental QB over a physically talented 23 year old. Grier would be better for this season because he knows the offense, but he has no upside for us. Actually, until the final preseason game, there was a lot of venom directed his way because he was playing so poorly.
Grier actually played well during all 3 preseason games. His problems was a few dumb mistakes during the first 2 games which he corrected during the last preseason game. He showed great improvement from game to game. I would have rather kept him over Cooper Rush and definitely over the bust named Trey Lance. Oh well. Time will tell if cutting Grier was the right decision or not.

Sieg and Edoka (most likely) will be re-signed when we put Wright and Waletzko on short-term IR. We had to have those two players on the initial 53 in order to be able to bring them back from IR.

Not sure what the plan is at center, but I think we're betting that we can get Farniok to the practice squad and possibly one of the other two centers (Hoffman and Lindstrom) and bring one of them up during games to be the backup.

He will probably end up on our practice squad.

So after looking at everything and all the released players. There are really no big surprises. Though few minor ones. Like keeping only 3 true LB's. Since Parsons is more of a DE and Bell more of a S.
Though Bell and Kearse are basically used as LB at times.
I still am not to high on this idea, but since it seems to work. I will accept it.

I am slightly surprised they actually kept Leupke, and am glad of this. So I am not surprised at keeping only 3 TE's. Get Mckeon too. the PS, and that is good.
Keeping extra DB's, a slight surprise as well, but since Wright most likely moves to short term IR, 11 counting Goodwin is what I expected.

I figured Gallimore or Bohana would be gone, but not both.

They’ll pickup a LB today. Farniok will be back on the PS
