First, I am not going to go back and find the two or three people who argued (and blasted me) with me about this when he was re-signed, but I told you folks so

"oh, but Cundiff is underrated!!!"

"oh, but he is automatic under 40 yds"

Cuncrap is what he is, a mediocre kicker who has ALWAYS been inconsistent...even when he was having success under 40 yds alot of those balls were barely going through the uprights

what is so blatantly obvious...we are 7-4 because:

1) we went cheap with regards to the kicker position
2) we went cheap and "familiar" with the OL coach position

Jerry and Bill...do us all a huge favor next yr...hire a real f'in OL coach, and go spend some F-IN money on a real F-IN kicker

we are 7-4 today because of those two poor moves

well instead of home field advantage or at leasta 1st rd bye, we'll probably be damn lucky to be a wild team and be the 5th or 6th seed

there were a number of free agent, depenable kickers...not break the bank guys either...but we had TONS of cap space and didnt want to invest even a moderate amount into a decent kicker...

Yeah. That was a really, really bad call. Even if you want to run the play, use Keyshawn again - he's bigger, and may be able to power his way to one yard against a smaller corner. The problem is the plays on which it worked, it wasn't 3rd and 1. So you knew the corner would be playing up. So why call it in the first place?
