Wow I bet Jason Campbell is pissed!!!!

He'll be even more pissed when the Skins make a move for Stafford or Sanchez. That's gotta be Danny's Plan B.

I never thought Angelo would make this sort of a deal. Good luck on signing a new contract, Jay. One of the stingiest front offices' in the league.

Danny boy really screwed the pooch on this one.

Best news for us 'Boys fans. No Cutler in DC, and Washington is stuck with a QB they don't want. It's not Campbell's style to piss and moan about it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he quietly requests a trade, since they aren't going to give him a new contract.

The Chicago Bears pulled the big upset Thursday afternoon by acquiring Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler, a source told ESPN.com.

The Broncos confirmed the move.

To acquire Cutler, the Bears had to give up quarterback Kyle Orton and first-round picks in 2009 and 2010, a source said.

To complete the trade, the Broncos had to give back an undisclosed draft choice in a later round.

The Bears beat out the Commanders, Buccaneers, Lions, Titans and other teams to get land the 25-year-old Pro Bowl quarterback.

The Broncos had been asking for at least two first-round choices.

Cutler asked to be traded when he found out first-year coach Josh McDaniels tried to acquire Matt Cassel in a trade with the Patriots.

Cutler had not returned phone calls from the Broncos, according to the team, and had been staying away from the offseason program.

To make matters worse for the Skins, the Titans are getting serious about the Albert Haynesworth tampering suit and have asked the NFL to investigate.

If they lose, it would be draft picks and fines at the very least.

No player is worth two first round picks. I even think that no player in the history of the NFL was worth trading two first round picks to acquire. One can argue that there are a handful of players that were worth trading two first round picks, but we have no idea how their respective teams would have changed had they made such a deal to get those players.
