Sure glad Jerruh and Parcells didn't listen to the people on this site that wanted Jacobs in the second round.

If Copper and Green ae both gone, IMO we must be going long at another position like NT (keeping 3). That or we are making room for a trade maybe???

How pissed would I be if we had missed on Pat Watkins in the 5th.

Justin Beriault cut (officially)

He was cut for medical reasons had degenerative cartiledge in his knees was so bad it was to the point of rubbing bone on bone. Obviously you can't play football like that.

Let the cuts begin

And the first cut is in: Our man Jean-Jacques Taylor says wide receiver Skyler Green, a 4th-round pick out of LSU, has been released by the Cowboys. Is Matt our very own Nostradamus or what?

An example of why the Skins' method of trading 3rd and 4th rounders for proven players is not such a bad idea.

NFL | Poston: Rogers to be a wanted man
Sat, 2 Sep 2006 10:53:30 -0700

The Associated Press reports agent Kevin Poston expects NFL teams to start calling Sunday, Sept. 3, about free agent WR Charles Rogers (Lions), assuming he clears league-wide waivers. "After 24 hours, we will start contacting teams and I'm sure teams will be contacting us," Poston told The Associated Press Saturday morning, Sept. 2. "He's a 25-year-old receiver with a lot of talent."

Unless you overpay for said player you traded for and they still don't pan out.:D

Compared to one 4th round rookie contract.

damn, sucks about Green. I was hoping we would hold on to him. I guess he just completely sucked as a receiver
