Who is saying they are happy losing today?
Too much "the future looks bright" talk. Who's to say they don't crap the bed next year? RG3 was great his rookie year. Injuries, schedule, anything can happen. They lose to one team all year that the starters all played, get #1 seed, never have to leave Texas again and they lose. One and done. This is worse than the Cabo game in my opinion. Everything was set up for them this year. Couldn't win one home game. So disappointing.

GB was 31st in the NFL in passing defense this year.
With all due respect, the playoffs are a new slate. Just ask NY back in the day. Trash all year, turned it on in the playoffs en route to a Super Bowl title.

So are we going to pretend that Romo hasn't had any INT"s in playoff games/contender for the playoff games now. Since some are going to say that the INT cost us this game.

Let the DOLTS try. That was Linehan's call. Just couldn't keep it simple and run the ball. This play cost us the game as much or more than Butler's end zone drop and the 3rd and 20 gag. Those 3 plays were all pivotal and all went against us.

I love them both. But, both QB's ended their first full season as starters at 13-3 and lost 1st playoff game. Hope Dak has a better supporting cast and career going forward.

IT's the WAY we lost IMO. Coming out flat, scared and poorly coached. Wake up in the second half only to have it be too little too late. ****** brutal.

Okay show it!

Show me a time that Romo has taken his team back from a 17 point deficit (15 in the 3rd quarter) and led this team back in a game of this magnitude against a QB this good.

Find a game that had playoff implications or a playoff game and I'll agree.

I can't stand I'm arguing against Romo cause I love the guy, my dog is named after him and he sent me an autographed picture for my wedding, but this very well might be THE BEST PERFORMANCE FOR A PLAYOFF DALLAS QB SINCE TROY AIKMAN!!!
there isn't an equivalent situation I was challenging your Romo has never come back from a 21-3 or equivalent deficit. Romo hasn't played against a defense this inept in a big game before, and if he did, he would have dropped 40.

I could spend the time looking but I won't. But this article from June came up in a Google search that only took a few seconds -

[In the ten seasons that Tony Romo has been the starting quarterback, he's engineered some great fourth-quarter heroics to bring the Cowboys to victories. Since 2006, no quarterback has had more fourth-quarter comeback victories, 25 to be exact, than Tony Romo. His passer rating in the final quarter of football is an astounding 102.9, five points higher than the number two guy (Aaron Rodgers). Romo also holds the mantle of most game-winning drives among active quarterbacks (29) as well as passer rating in the final two minutes (93.1).

I love watched every game, I love the guy.'

In referring more to playoff games or games with playoff implications. I don't think I have seen better QB play tonight in that position since Aikman.

This GB unit is basically the same unit as 14.

This GB defense has done enough to win this many straight games. They aren't good but they are good enough.

We were hoping for good enough for our defense this year.

Dak needed to check out of that WR screen on 2nd and 2. Once again Linehan takes the ball out of Zekes hands.

You can't run that play vs press coverage like that.

Other than that and one or two bad decisions down field, he played a very good game. Cool as ice, regardless of the score.

If we draft a quarterback in the first round, we

1) push Dak to make sure he doesn't get a big head.
2) see if a first-round talent with all these weapons can do better.
3) trade the lesser one probably for more than we spend on it in draft capital.

And if Dak is the real thing, he'll win the battle. If he's not, he won't.

And I really like Dak.

I disagree. I felt worse in 2007. I wasn't even expecting to have a season like this. We found our new QB and RB. I agree we don't know what the future holds but for right now I feel good about it except the coaching.
