Official Dak Prescott Thread **merged**

Let me get this straight... We have a 4th round stud at QB on a 4th round salary, and your advice to Jerry is to draft another potential stud with his PRICE TAG, when what we really need is DEFENSE? I'm so glad you're not in the war room, our future would go down quickly.

Price tag for a quarterback is irrelevant. Unless you're overpaying a mid-level Tannehill one b/c you're afraid of being worse.

Especially when both would be on rookie contracts.

Anywhere that throw was would have been picked. That was 100% the stupid play call and a phenomenal defensive play.

Agree with bad play call & it was bad execution too. (granted not looking at film). Looked like the playcall was screen to 11. Ball would not have gotten to him, even if 88 had blocked 33. Bad play call and bad execution.

Idk, it didn't show up in the game when the team stumbled through the first half. Don't think he's any more of a leader than Romo.
If you seriously don't see Dak's off the charts leadership skills, then there really isn't much to discuss with you. lol

ask a Packers fan about their defense, it's not close to the same as 2014

Packers defense is atrocious. Down 6 DBs in this game. Matthews on his last legs. Peppers 500 year old. Part of me feels like I need to be disappointed in the offense.

Why do people try and defend Dak on the screen play? It was awful and his fault. Two plays before that, of I remember correctly, he also threw the ball on the deep pass into triple coverage but the GB DB couldn't catch what was right in his hands.

If anything praise him for the fact he made up for it the rest of the game and didn't fold.

We lost. Let's allow the Romo talk to die as it pertains to this game. Dak, Zeke and co. fought like warriors. The defense struggled but fought as well in the second half. It came down to facing a qb that was one step better than us all day. The game unfolded in a way that allowed them to play downhill and we were on our heels all day. We had to have flawless execution and not "help" a qb who will walk into the hof. We failed to do that. Simply too many mistakes.

But no disappointment in the 34 points the defense gave up? If you give up 34 points, you're not a Super Bowl team.

Was drafting Roger Staubach and/or Craig Morton a mistake?

Anyone that cant appreciate Dak at this point is just flat out ignorant. He has been tested and passed with flying colors all year long, this game was no different. His pick btw was a crap play call. Bad throw read whatever, still cant figure out why we werent running there.

That screen play was a horrible call and shouldn't of been called. It was 2nd and 2 and they should of just gave Zeke the ball for the 1st. However, it was a bad throw. Can't really defend that.

No arguments there. Still could have won this game though but the offense did what normally would be good but wasn't enough against a really bad defense.

This game was not on Dak, he played great for a rookie outside of the int and a poorly thrown deep ball. This team reminds me of the 91 Cowboys. Another year of the offense together and some defensive upgrades = Super Bowl.

Can you post the stats of all the NFL teams that have the Best OL in the NFL, the Best RB in Football, a HOF TE and an elite #1 WR?
If your point is that Dak didn't play any better than he did in the regular season, you got me there.
