For years many on this board *****ed because we didn't draft OL. The last few years we hit home run after home run on OL drafted, we continue to build there, and you still *****. No winning I guess. We needed a swing tackle AND someone to groom to replace Free in 2-3 years. We solved both issues (hopefully).

Building OL depth is fine. Using a pick that could yield an immediate starter for an OL that you hope won't have to play at all? Puzzling.

Lol. You finally giving up on it? You fought the good fight, at least.

This pick makes not getting Peterson even more painful. People freaked at the idea of giving up a 3rd round pick for the best RB in the game....well you got what you wanted...you kept your precious draft pick.. What a way to spend it.

I don't think Hundley and Petty thought they were going after Grayson and Mannion.

Loved Jones. Loved Gregory. This pick was a waste. Front office has overdone their love of OL.

Third round can still produce a starter immediately.

You just picked a guy that if things go according to plan wouldn't be considered a starter. Kind of dumb.

So 2 years from now when he is starting and we look back and say hey we snagged 3 good starters in the first 3 rounds... will you eat your crow?

OL is weak this year. When that happens teams will reach a round earlier. I heard the same thing about Hitchens and Fred Beard. Let's just wait and see.

I would rather have seen Bryce Petty get drafted than a backup OT.
Who is Romo's backup?? Weeden still?

Bennett or cooper could have possibly pushed for starter minutes at DT, for example.

Green has not shot to start.

No they would not have started. In addition, Wehave DTs on the roster that haven't even played yet (or very little). DT is not a glaring need. A swing tackle is a HUGE need. You HAVE to have one.
