Why do we get always seem to get a little cooky in the middle rounds? The early part tends to look calculated then...time to score some UDFAs. I'm exaggerating; got Witten, Hatcher, TW, etc. but tends to get wackier the later we get into almost ever year.

Hitchens as well.

LOL at people talking about they hate this pick. When you get in these middle rounds most if not all of these players are gambles. Just wait and see what kind of player Green turns out to be.

Fair enough, but the consensus view is that he could have been had a round or two later. If he turns out to be like Travis Frederick nobody will care but for now it looks like a questionable pick.

Hitchens as well.

I like Hitchens too, but he is part of the 4th to 7th exception with Scan/Free as only other recent contributors (maybe you could include Bowen here too when with the team). I generally like/understand our first 3 with this/Esco as recent exceptions.

Green plays right tackle, but has also played left tackle when needed, and our old swing tackle is playing for the Jags. Not sexy, but a necessary pick.

I hope Chaz Green is last years Anthony Hitchens.
We all hated the pick but ended up being a very solid pick.

NO...'we' didn't all hate the pick. I watched AH play in the Big Ten extensively and told anyone who would listen on here the kid could play. Same with Fred the year before. Our draft this year is pretty underwhelming to this point.

you need a swing tackle....Parnell is gone...one of the tackles goes down, who plays?

Agree...I said leading up to the draft we should nab a swing tackle. I would have liked Bennett here, RB in 4th and swing tackle in the 5th but....let's be honest it would be slim pickings by then.
