Clowney is going to contribute. There is a high probability of Manziel being a bust. It would get talked about, but that won't last long if he doesn't perform.

Defensive linemen bust at a higher rate than quarterbacks in the first round. If Houston won with Manziel, they would suddenly matter and could cut into the Cowboys dominance in Texas. Winning or losing with Clowney won't matter much to Houston's popularity.
