***Official Draft Thread Day THREE***

Head scratcher, but give him 3 years and see if he's 4th round worthy. He's a Dallas Cowboy now. Not a big fan of him being a 7th round grade for many analysts, but I have a list of about 5 with 7th-FA grades that I wouldve taken in the 4th. Patience for the young man. Most exciting day of his life!!

Nice post and great avatar.

This has to be on Will McClay. He was going to run this draft in middle rounds with emphasis on D. Can we stop the annointed articles on him now.
This Will Clay stuff was BS from the start.this last pick was not good if you believe what others are saying about it. we are back to drafting back-ups and special teams players in the 4th round again. this crap happens every year.

Yeah because blindly supporting a front office that has failed for over a decade is SO much better. At least try to use whatever brain you have and attempt to formulate you're own opinion. It's not that hard to learn about a player in the age of the internet

Not whining and moaning is NOT blind support but many can't grasp that concept. Whatever brain I have? You dont know me dude so chill.

You're? Bwahaha

Man you guys would have gone nuts in the days of Brandt with his flyers. People think he was so great (rightfully so) but go and look at all his misses.

Brandt's last 10 years would have been enough for people to storm Valley Ranch with torches and pitchforks.

For those wondering why Telvin Smith is still available, my guess is that teams feel he's too undersized and putting on 15-20 pounds will hurt his speed to a pedestrian level.

Still think he could do good things in our scheme.

The Bears are having a really good draft. Good value at each pick and all at positions of need. Stacking up that D-Line and the DB position. Cowboys, take notes.

We should probably wait and see exactly how these kids play before we start declaring whose draft was good and whose wasn't.

Lot's of good safeties still there, but we're a long ways off still.

So I know that everyone hates the last pick but what position or who is everyone wanting for our next pick? who's still out there?

just hoping we dont stick to our middle round board cos apparently the Commanders put it together for us

It makes sense to draft players who were all taken several picks after Dallas'?

I guess that makes a lot of GMs idiots. Or maybe those guys have just as good of a reason to not value Clinton-Dix over Martin, etc., or even Nix over Will Sutton, who was taken a pick earlier in the third round.

Every year, people are convinced players should be taken higher than they go. Occasionally, they are correct (which just shows the nature of the draft). Sometimes they are absolutely wrong.

Reminds me of when everyone was all over Dallas taking the tall safety in the fifth round and just so surprised that he wasn't taken much, much earlier. We found out exactly why he wasn't taken much, much earlier.
