Most rosters are more than 10% 7th rounders and CFAs. There's only 7 rounds in the whole draft, after all.

7th rounders, you mean? I think NFL teams average ~5 7th rounders per team on their rosters overall, so, just under 10%. Anything over that is, obviously, above average and not necessarily a good sign.

Okay, let me rephrase. Since most teams only have one or two seventh round picks in a year, I'm talking about any rookies who make a team in the seventh round or later. If you have five or six of them on your roster in a given year, that usually means it's a piss poor roster, not that you magically found the most amazing haul in the history of the NFL.
What would we trade? Third 7ths for a 6th??? What's the point? Go with what we have and pick some 7th rounders who can help this team.
