***Official Draft Thread Day THREE***

Lache Seastrunk to the Commanders. Good pick at this point in the draft.

You'd think that, but then he does, and all they do is complain about him. I can't imagine any of us, or Ben Bass himself, don't want the guy healthy and on the field. It's a shame that players get hurt in this game, but it does tend to happen now and then.

Those guys are the ones who cannot and should not be counted on.

Forgiveness and forestalling judgment are virtues to some.

I agree. Though I will say on this topic that there are a lot of people out there who've been affected by drinking and driving episodes one way one way or another, and you can never tell over the internet what you might be dealing with in terms of another poster's experience in that regard. I'm sure we've all got nothing but sympathy for anybody who's lives have been upended this way, and that it goes way beyond what we might hope for from any given employee of the Dallas Cowboys.

Bromley was a guy mentioned by PrimeTime (zone poster) on his site. Looks like a decent talent. Package something to move up?

The Jets have 4 picks in the 6th round. Would be a good trade partner for the Cowboys.

What would we trade? Third 7ths for a 6th??? What's the point? Go with what we have and pick some 7th rounders who can help this team.

If I've got 4 6ths, I'm using them. At some point, you're trading back for table scraps from a position where there still might be some meat on the bone.

You could easily trade a future 6th and a 7th or something along those lines. This is a deep draft, a lot deeper than most. If there's a player you like there, target him and get him.

Generally speaking, a roster that is 10% composed of rookie seventh rounders isn't a very good roster.

Most rosters are more than 10% 7th rounders and CFAs. There's only 7 rounds in the whole draft, after all.
