WIth the mentality he brought to the table and what he developed and expected of his players, they would have been blowing out Detroit after getting 4 turnovers and it would have never come down to a finish like we saw today

I agree. I still can't understand why we kept giving the ball to the likes of Lance Dunbar and Randle? They aren't our playmakers on this team. We forgot that Bryant is our best playmaker by far and yet we only started to throw his way in the 4th quarter.

I'm glad you said it first, but this is exactly right.

No its not exactly right unless you are trying to get into field goal range. If you are running out the clock you kneel it three times and punt. They get it with 25 secs and not time outs.

they weren't laid back with wade phillips. fact is, he has a lot of media friends in dallas. from babe to mike fisher to norm who has been defending him nonstop so far on the radio postgame. its sickening how much of a pass he's gotten.

I cant listen to that guy Norm. I dont care how much of a broadcasting legend he is in TX. I called in once last yr and got on the air and I called out Norm and other Dallas media for the softball questions they lob at Garrett. Norm says to me..."well you're in the Northeast, thats a different mindset up there" LOL

If Jerry wants to pay a coach not to make the playoffs, he can hire me and I'll work for peanuts. He would save bundles of money!

They can fire this clown but there's a pretty good chance the GM will hire someone just as bad or worse.

Apples and oranges. Jimmy would have had Troy, Emmitt, Michael and a top notch OL. Garrett has what can at best be described as a mediocre roster with a few above average players.

Mediocre roster? I don't think anyone is calling Bryant mediocre. Yet we failed to get the ball to him. Do you think Romo, Witten, Twill, Harris, Bailey is mediocre as well? These excuses that we don't have the players is just crazy. Garrett, is lucky to have this amount of talent on offense. He just doesn't know what to do with it.

Garrett is a loser who wouldnt have anything in football without his father. You ever see his CFL stats?

The mind-boggler is, they basically went 60 yards in less time than that anyway.

What i'd like to see is us play to our strengths. They blitzed the run all day. We should've been 5-wide most of the time.

Since when is Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and Terrance Williams mediocre? Excellent return man in Dwayne Harris? Dallas has more than enough talent. We just don't have the staff that knows how to utilize it on the offensive side of the ball.

I've said it before. We have some of the dumbest fans around the league. I put them up there with the Eagles' fans and their knowledge of the game.

You kick the fg like jg did. They wouldve had even better field position with a punt. They would have easily got a fg too. I don't know what people are thinking if you wanted a punt there. The d just sucks and we cant run the clock out on o. And playing not to lose is always our problem. I have no respect for teams that play that way. We deserved to lose playing scared.

You people would have been ready to fire Landry in 1968. You would have been screaming to fire Jimmy in week 5 of 1992. I'm not saying that Garrett is in their league, but remember that Murray and Ware were sidelined today and had they been healthy, they would have made a difference. Chill.

I think Garrett is too scared to do anything but the most conservative when presented with options, they're probably too afraid to stay aggressive because of games like the last time they played Detroit and they lost a gut wrencher after leading 27-3

At some point he needs to get past the fear of dying so he and his team can live.
He'll probably figure that out at his next stop after he gets run out of Dallas

With everything I have, I tried to give him a chance once Jerry stripped play calling from him.

No more. He's done in my book.

He will be waiting a while for a head coaching job when he finally gets fired. I don't even think he sniffs a OC gig. His system is stale and ineffective.
