Football 101:

Less than a 1 minute left and with a lead, DEFEND the sidelines and NEVER let any receiver get behind you.

It should be apparent, even to those it wasn't apparent to before. How long can we let this go on? We have a good team and he blows it. I have no confidence in this guy whatsoever. He's an idiot.

This is where you're wrong. This is not a good team. We all were fooled into thinking that we had the most talented team in the league for years. It's not the coaching.

Why not a straight up the middle run play? Or they could have spread the field with 5 receivers and one back. Then run it up the middle. You minimize penalties that way.

This was a coaching failure. Bad playcalling and being conservative all gave killed us. This game was given to us by the Lions and yet we didn't even put it away and we let them linger. Its not the players fault. Thats coaching.

IT WAS A RUN UP THE MIDDLE, Tanner chose to take it wide when it was clogged up. PUT IT ON THE PLAYERS.

You are mistaken. Dez doesn't want to lose. When he gets 5 targets the entire game and watches his coaches call a conservative game, he feels absolutely helpless. DEZ has seen this story too many times. Heck Dallas fans know its coming. It sickening and the Dallas offense only started to do something when his tantrum was thrown. I will glady welcome a Dez tantrum at the start of every game. ****ing sad as ****.

its absolutely sickening,Garrett is scared of him own ginger shadow.

My point is before the 4th quarter did any of them yards produce anything? NO those are called dead yards

tons of yards shows your D is giving everything up (but the points in this case, by a miracle)...so why would you not expect them to give up a million more yards on the final drive? they got torched. eventually, they were gonna get points. it was inevitable.

too freaking conservative, how many games have we lost like this now?

I'd rather make errors of aggression, I guarantee they would have more wins in all the close games they lost if they had taken Jimmy Johnsons approach in the 92' championship game with the lead and a few minutes left that lead to Harpers long run.

If Garret had been coach it would have been three and out and no Super Bowl that year.

I'm numb right now, I can't believe they lost another ****in game like this. Actually, I can believe it, I just hope'd they'd finally dodge a bullet, but hell no

Detroit scored 24 ****ING points in the 4th quarter. Its mind bending how the Cowboys find ways to lose regardless of the coach , the year, the QB or the players. (insert Jerry jones slam here)
That last one minute ****ed up the whole week and probably the rest of the season

The problem is with coaching. Why in the world did we keep trying to run the ball in the 2nd half on 1st down? Our run game was aweful. Yet we had Bryant 1 on 1 on 1st down most of the game. WE failed to capitalize on that. Coaching NOT TO LOSE is a way to lose a game in the NFL. We could have easily put this game away if the coaches knew what to do. They failed miserably mainly Garrett.

Again...... 3 kneel downs= no penalties and no fumble=4 th down tony runs backwards and kills more time=Puc punt= with 20 something secs or less to drive for a fg w no timeouts= coaching time management 101
This game should have been over. Garrett gets the blame

Jimmy would have probably went for the 4th down than rather give that opportunity to Detroit to win the game. Jimmy would have thrown the ball more to his playmakers. Jimmy would have made the right calls in crunch time rather than what Garrett has done. Honestly, Garrett is not Jimmy. Garrett is a coach in training and its killing us. We have lost more games during crunch time because of Garrett's indecisions.

He can't manage a game to save his life. He's not a football coach. He never was.

I cant wait til he is shown the door, hopefully sometime in the next 4-5 yrs he will be. He was also put in a bad situation. The Dallas Cowboys are not the team where you hire an inexperienced head coach and let him "learn and "evolve" and "find his way".

Go do that in Buffalo, San Diego, Jacksonville, Cincy. Not as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

The defense got historically destroyed. Enough with the "d was good" talk.

Old man got destroyed. Again.
