If an NFL head coach needs a "training camp" so to speak, then within the last 4 years Carrot Head hasn't earned a spot, and needs to be cut.

I just get tired of talking about Garrett. Every year it's the same thing. This team is never prepared. They always beat themselves. I can't understand how some continue to compare him to Coach Landry. I haven't seen anything in his years as OC or HC that suggests that he'll ever be a great coach. This franchise deserves better. At least the fans do.

Garret will never be even close to the level Landry was as HC, I honestly can see if we keep playing as bad as we did today then Garret will be canned at some point this season

This team always looks so unprepared. I read & watch those old videos & Jimmy had those guys working out there like a machine. Need a first down? No problem. Run it down your throat? We can do that...

These Garrett teams look like they don't even practice sometime.

Camp Carrot Cake. They have talent but they played mentally weak and physically soft. They need to improve their practices habits.

I just don't know what they can do. They rotate these assistants in & out, year after year, & yet nothing really changes,

They are definitely soft.

Garrett needs to get the blame for Romo audibling out of run plays at the goal line. We have seen Romo do this time and time again and afterward, Garrett or Jerry will come out and say a run play was called and changed at the line.

Since he took this job, Garrett has had this fantasy of making Romo into his own personal Peyton Manning/Drew Brees and gave him free reign of the offense. Romo is/was great, but never at that level. He needs to be reigned in.

At this point, it's clear he needs to be treated almost like a college QB. He's got the gunslinger mentality and it usually doesn't end well when he takes matters into his own hands, so be a damn coach and control the guy. Call a play and tell him to stick with it.

As Parcell's said at one point, you have to keep a finger on Romo. I don't trust either Garrett or Linehan to control Romo.

If the season goes on and this teams plays mediocre or poor, Romo will be harder to control because he will feel he has to play like a gunslinger in order to win games.

In the past the gunslinger mentality worked for him. But Romo is 34 years old and he looks a step slower than when he was running around the field slinging it in previous years.

I thought part of Romo's current contract was that he had more control over the coordination of the offense. IDK, but if that's the case it will make him even harder to control Romo.

I'll sit back and see how this one plays out. I just get the feeling though it's not going to play out well.

You bench him. No player should be above the team.

He doesn't seem to be very good at it but I do wonder if they tell him don't do that. Or if he's just allowed to do whatever. I don't know how all that works.

I have a feeling JG doesn't have the balls to sit him or tell Romo off like Parcells would. IIRC Bledsoe was benched for Romo because he was told not to do something but kept on doing it during the game against the Giants. That had to be a hard decision for Parcells to make because Bledsoe was pretty close to Parcells.

Instead of having the guts to sit Romo , JG will probably go about his passive aggressive ways and throw Romo under the bus during one of his press conferences.
