Official Jason Garrett Thread **merged**

Seriously.

Two home games to make it to the Super Bowl - one in our home state.

Healthiest team in the league. Couldn't even take one step forward.

We lost by 3 pts after numerous coaching errors. This should be the focus of today.

This all falls on Garrett. They even made him a walkaround head coach to eliminate game management errors, and he is still making huge mistakes.

This is a top 8 team and should compete for a SB the next 5 years.....JG is not a problem

Sign and Draft some Defense and get JSmith and Tapper back and its on

This was a superbowl team this. We had a matchup against a team that we beat. We were home. We were favored.

We should have won this game. Garrett again makes more and more mental errors. For a guy who went to Princeton, he can't manage a clock?

When you make decisions that directly allow your greatest weakness (our pass defense) to go out against the other teams greatest strength (Aarron Rodgers) EXTRA times, you are a bad head coach. You are an awful head coach.

Jason Garrett is that head coach. He needs to go.

this should be what everyone sees. Name for me one notable mistake GB made in this game. Then balance that with the avalanche of ineptitude that was our coaching staff.

And we lost by 3, at the gun.

It should be clear who to blame for this loss.

We have 2-3 guys on this entire defense that would get PT on most teams. Lots of work to do....

Those 5 seconds would have been pretty usefull in the end since GB kicked the game winning fg with 3 seconds left.
They would have also been useful for us if we had gotten a first down. Why just assume we were going to not make it?

So we were just that much better than the Packers that we could keep it within 3 when we are playing 15 on 11 and are making countless mistakes?
yes, that's exactly what I'm saying

the Packers played a perfect game, and barely won. We left 15-20 points on the field with terrible decision making and boneheaded mistakes.

So our team, with it's zero defensive stars outside of maybe Lee is just that much better than Green Bay.

Joe Maddon was in his first year as Manager with the Cubs. His 'first rodeo" with the Cubs if you will. Not much of a track record of making bonehead calls to cost the Cubs seasons or games. And then there was 2016, which ended a what - 110 year drought?
So I take it you are just ignoring his years with the Devil Rays?

3rd and 20.

Defense make a play! Don't let the opposing team make a play to get in field goal range!

Jesus Christ!

Aaron Rodgers made an amazing play. Seriously, a HOF play.

I thought for sure the game was going to OT, so did everyone else here at that point. Sure Garrett and team started off sluggish as crap! But this team KEPT FIGHTING and we were on the verge of Making an epic comeback with a rookie QB and RB.

Against one of the best QBs in NFL history who played a near perfect game...

If going into the game, you would've told us Rodgers would've played a damn near perfect game and we were one play away to pushing it to OT. I would've said you're full of manure.

Fix the defense

Pray the injury bug doesn't hit next season

Team fixed.

It would have never came to 3 and 20 had JG knew anything about game time management.

Aside from comparing a sport with a salary cap to one without, It was your analogy that alluded to him being fired in year 1 with the Cubs. You mentioned nothing about the Raysso I guess you ignored them

This isnt Garrets first or second season in Dallas, and he hasnt ended the drought. Maddon has

Honestly guys Star, Zordon, American and others make very legitimate points.

We were at home, following a bye week, 13-3 regular season, playing a team we had beaten at their stadium earlier in the year, i mean when are we supposed to win?

When does the next year, player or two away, we are building something special here actually happen?

We were down 21-3 to one of the best QBs of all time with a rookie QB and came back to tie with a chance to win, so there are positives too

they just prove over and over they can't think ahead, we always look unprepared, we've been getting drives killed by penalties since the Minnesota game, this is a poorly coached team, what else do some of you people need to see

THEY ARE BAD
