From the totally unacceptable shovel pass to 3 straight run plays, it was as if he was on the Patriots payroll.

Total bush league calls, Garrett should coach in the CFL or something.

He is getting embarrassed on a weekly basis in the NFL. His red zone offesne is a complete joke and he has no sense of situational football what so ever.

Boy Wonder is now 7-6 as HC..........what a stud!!!!

OMG that shovel pass, i literally just sunk into my couch and ruefully smiled, can you believe that?

Amazing call. With Kowalski at guard to boot, brilliant!

I thought the same thing and I knew they were going to lose the game at that moment.

This fanbase is a bunch of hypocrites, if we come out passing with the lead and Romo chucks another pick late with the lead the very same people crying about Garrets playcalling would be crying about Garretts playcalling. For the last 2 weeks we've seen nothing but run the ball take time of the clock whining and here we did just that, it didn't work, we lost and now people are crying about us not passing.

We lost cause we're just not that good, the coach isn't holding us back it's the lack of talent, specially interior OL talent, when you go cheap you get what you get.

Give this team a chance to win and they'll find a way to lose it never fails.
Garrett did his best to protect this team from them selves today and they still found a way to lose. Penalties, dropped passes and missed opportunities.

I guarantee next week against the Rams a team we should beat easily we'll play down to their level and either win or lose a close one again
If there's a bright spot here it's that the Pats will hand a L to every team in this division so in the long run this one will even out.

What has he shown you as HC? That he's better than Wade? So what?

Better than terrible is nothing.
wades team would have quit when they gut punched in the mouth

And who is responsible for the mess of an OL?

No i don't accept that as an excuse, the line has played above expectations, and Ryan's defense has shown me we have a lot more talent than we thought, the front office apperas to be doing a decent job.

There is no excuse for that offensive performance today, we allowed ourselves to get sucked into some4 BS cat and mouse game, where other teams against the Pats defense were simply taking them apart.

you guys have convinced me. we have to totally out score the other team by a lot because Rob Ryan cant hold a lead.

Honestly, what has he even done to prove he deserves being an OC, much less a head coach?

He got hired here as OC because he's Jerry's illegitimate son. He had one great year with Tony Sparano and mediocrity since. He doesn't deserve to be OC of a football team right now, much less head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Zero? maybe I missed a couple plays, but I doubt it

Throw to Robinson where the zebras called a "double penalty."

I am done with Jason. I have no choice but to hope he proves me wrong and choke down a bunch of crow which I would gladly do.

I can understand a player such a Romo making a physical mistake like he did against the Lions last week but I do not understand how a coach can just go totally brain dead from the comfort of the sidelines like that.

Insane. Inexcusable. He hand delivered the game to the Patriots. I am at a loss right now to comprehend how bad Jason was.

There is no escaping that one, that tells me everything i need to know about Garrett as an OC, just a flat out, straight up, amateurish call.

Really bad.

No defense in the NFL can hold a lead with the amount of time Ryan's defense sees the ball.

Much like our fearless head coach, you have no clue about situational play calling. The "well, you told me to run last week so thats what I'm going to do" mindset is probably exactly what Garrett was thinking too.

I love him as a head coach but not so much as a play caller

I don't think the problem is play calling in general. We normally have an offense that can move the ball well enough. With Romo and Garrett, we probably have a pretty good yards per game average.

The problem is play calling in the red zone and certain situations (like when leading in the 4th quarter).

I still remember the game in which we were up against the Giants at home in the 3rd or 4th quarter. We were running all over the Giants. Felix was playing an amazing game, they simply couldn't stop him! On top of that, the Giants were playing with one or more safeties very deep. So what does Garrett call? Deep pass! Result = Interception.

So many people were screaming about controlling Romo late.

We sat on the ball and played with no huevos.

We lost.

No the fans are not hypocrites. Just because you want Jason run more when you have a 24 point lead against the Stafford led Lions does not mean you want to run more when you are nursing a 3 point lead against Brady and your running game is producing 2.6 yards per carry.

Once again, situational play calling. See multiple posts above. But you are right, Austin had two critical drops, we had way too many penalties and just generalized botched play. But those things are Garrett's responsibility also.
