You can never leave it up the refs. This game was lost in the abysmal first 22 minutes.

And again on the inexplicable spike on that last drive.

Penalties are generally a reflection of coaching. Sift back through the threads of the games closing out the season, and drive killing penalties is a very common theme.

The staff deserves credit for taking it as far as they did, but coaching needs to be tempered. Playing smart and clock management!

I thought it was a poorly called game.

Missed call on Witten was terrible. Still don't understand the Brice penalty.

On the other hand, there were a couple of hilarious defensive holding calls by the Cowboys on the Packers WRs that were missed including the one where Adams jersey was practically ripped off.

Can anybody explain that penalty to me, I've been watching football most of my life (29 years) and had never seen that one. I didn't even see him huddle up with the team, just kind of chilling somewhere in between. That penalty killed our first half.

I'm with you. I played pop warner, jv, varsity and four years of college football. I've reffed and watched games my entire life. I have not seen that penalty called EVER

It's always funny to me because it seems when we give up a penalty on defense it ends up being an incomplete pass or a sack.

Whenever they call a penalty on us it negates a good 40 yard swing.

Is there a stat that tells you how many times that penalty has been called? I'd like to know

Was "The Call" on pass interference an uncarchable ball? Seemed to be 20 yds past nearest GB receiver.

I still can't fathom how there wasnt 1 single hold on the GB offensive line when they did it all game. I could understand if there were a few missed calls... This was our year and it was taken away by men in stripes....

Should've been yes. He was out of the pocket. At worst a holding there for 5 yards

It was terrible officiating across the board that helped and hurt both teams.

Offensive. The way Brice Butler ran near Dak and then back off the field was horrible. They should have tossed him from the game. (Sarcasm).
Wth was that call? They're was no huddle to be a part of! But we got away with some too.

We did get screwed on a few calls, as well as a few bad spots of the ball. We should be able to overcome that though. We didn't & we lost.

The officiating wasn't the issue, they generally called a good game and let some things go if anything.

Dallas is a very young team and Rodgers played like an elite QB, plus GB got a lot of breaks. Its no consolation, but in the big picture a very young team starting a rookie QB did great to take this game down to last few seconds. And even then it took an absolute highlight reel catch to make it close at the end.

I want to agree with you, but I just can't fully do it.

The calls and no calls hey made in key moments definitely affected the game.

some of the calls were offset, but ultimately two big instances may have cost us the game.

Irving was held on the pass to Cook.

And the PI on brown was at Best Illegal Contact and not PI.

Does anyone have a replay of that last pass from Rodgers to Cook? I didn't get to see the line, but some dudes are saying Irving or somebody was held

Here's a look at Witten definitely not getting held, and setting up a first down and goal

no idea what the title is for

Irving was tackled, not held. Definitely a penalty but I bet I could find plays where Dallas wasn't called if I went back over the tape. Brown completely threw the WR off his route, I don't have a problem with that call. I have a big problem with the call on Witten being tackled in the End Zone but its also a play were the ref is screened from view of the play.
