Seriously, has officiating always been this bad and wasn't talked about as much, or has it gone down the toilet the past whatever seasons? I don't really remember it being so bad growing up in the 80s and 90s

Does anyone have a replay of that last pass from Rodgers to Cook? I didn't get to see the line, but some dudes are saying Irving or somebody was held

Held no, rode like a rodeo clown yes. lol

I seriously think the NFL doesn't want their refs calling holding on passing plays in order to make things more exciting. Even when I watch Broncos games, they never get any holding calls and they rush the passer extremely well.

I think Byron is an improving player and a staple of this team moving forward but he had a tough game. That last play he gave up he's got to keep his head up, locate the QB and ball and flatten out that angle. He simply gave too huge a window for that play to be made.

One last thing on that Butler flag, there was another flag on the play but it was picked up.

So my question(s) are was that against Greenbay? Why was the flagged picked up? And if it is against the Packers isn't it offsetting? Or does a personal foul supersede that?
When both teams commit a penalty on the same play and one is 15 and the other is 5 the 5 yarder is disregarded
So I'm guessing it was an illegal contact or hold by GB

Was anyone upset when Mo got away with a blatant grab and hold on a 3rd down failed conversion?

The game was just poorly officiated overall.

I thought the Cowboys got the bulk of the bad calls, however, there were some obvious ones missed on Mo earlier in the game -- including one where he practically tore the jersey off of Adams that wasn't called.

What I basically think is this. They are terrible as a crew tonight. They called bad calls on both sides. The difference is timing. Their bad calls were at crushing times for the Cowboys and much less important times for the Packers.

The question I have is what is a holding penalty. If it looks like a rear naked choke its a penalty. Also what is false start, I swear Bakhtairi kicks out a split second before the snap a lot and is never called for it.

That looks MUCH worse in freeze frame. At full speed the guy on his back didn't sustain the engagement and the next lineman over picked him up and was the one that made him a non-factor in the play.

I was about to say the samething, it does not look as bad in full speed.

yes, but isn't the point that they had to overcome the blown call... which is the nature of any NFL game?

I agree the Cowboys got the short end of the stick, however, I didn't see it as a massive disparity.

Did TV broadcast ever re-focus in on G.Bay D-backs after a play like they did on Mo and Brown?............can we then just presume with their All-pro caliber players (sarc) across the board back there they never did any of the same all game long?

The NFL is over officiated. That and too many commercials make the game nearly unwatchable. Blatant calls only & stop coddling the O (auto first downs for everything, etc.).

The PI call was huge though. End of game that gave them immediate FG position.

There was a play where Beasley was hit in the helmet. Was there an explanation?

This, combined with too many games during the week is killing the NFL.
