bring back Kevin Burnett
That one is a head scratcher for me. Why we didn't go after him could be telling I suppose.

I was glad at first when they signed him, and having Clutts on the team too. I thought they were more serious about keeping a FB for sure. But after Copeland wasn't making any noise, even in OTA's, I began to wonder what was goimng on. I'm all for him comimng onto the PS though.
The FB I wanted Dalls to draft in the 7th, was picked, Mallard. Can't remember by what team. But by not picking him, maybe they aren't all that serious about a FB. But I have know idea how Mallard is doing, or if he was worthy of a 7th round pick. But I'm glad the got the defensive players better.
KC released a DT named Jermelle Cudjo?
I'd sign him just to see what kind of canine nickname Marinelli can come up with.
Except that, like Anthony Spencer and Demarcus Ware, he was a 4-3 rush end in college.
We also brought in Mincey and McClain, and then drafted Gardener and Bishop. On top of landing Coleman in CFA. It wasn't criminal. Alexander just wants some attention.
Eh, yes and no. Melton was a great signing all around. Mincey would be decent depth if they weren't relying on him to start, but the other guys (yes, even the oft-scouted Terrell McClain) are guys that winning teams bring in and don't necessarily expect them to make the roster. McClain COULD be a diamond in the rough, but the idea of taking the third-string nose tackle from the worst team in the league last year and magically turning him into a monster 1-tech isn't something you take to Vegas.
The truth of the matter is that this team was hamstrung by the salary cap and spent the offseason bargain shopping and dumpster diving. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on how you view the team. They're making smart moves for a rebuilding team, but poor moves for a team that expects its $108-million QB to contend in his last few years.
Jets shopping Kendrick Ellis for late picks. With our penchant for abysmal late round picks, we might as well have a look.
Could not be worse than Hayden or Bishop.
Yep, this is what our DL has come to. We're building Frankenstein with parts found in the garbage.
We have abysmal late round picks?
