Thanks for putting these all in one place.

You're welcomed.

Noticed WR Mike Davis on that list. Word was they liked him pre draft. Seriously doubt we would take a flyer on him as it seems we have plenty of young WRs that look good currently on the roster with some of them going to get cut soon.

My how Bruce Campbell has fallen. I remember all the draft pub this kid was getting. Goes to show, you just never know.

He was one of the guys who had all of the workout numbers and measurables that you want but none of the actual game time awards and recognition that you want.

It was not like he got a ton of money from the Seahawks either. He went there to go where he had a chance to win.

A veteran like that would have helped. And do not say "progress stopper". There is nobody's progress to stop.

It is absolutely criminal how we addressed the DL this offseason.
I have a major problem with this notion.

We signed the best available FA DT and then traded up to draft a DE. What else is there to be done? Maybe draft another guy? They replaced half the starters on the DLine. It's not like you can rebuild and all of a sudden have a great unit in one offseason.

It's amazing that nobody in this league can recognize Alex Tanney's greatness.

Not a lot of teams have room to develop that third guy. In the talk this season about Vaughan, all I keep thinking about is that I liked Tanney better as a developmental prospect last offseason. There's a bunch of these guys floating around who just need more time and more reps on an NFL roster to get where they need to be. With the dearth of decent QB play, the league really should come up with a way for teams to develop prospects safely for a couple of years.

We also brought in Mincey and McClain, and then drafted Gardener and Bishop. On top of landing Coleman in CFA. It wasn't criminal. Alexander just wants some attention.

Maybe that is part of the reason they are increasing the practice squad.

It probably is. But you still have to expose the guys in that case. I'd like it if you had an extra QB3 spot on the roster, so everybody would have one they're developing, all the time. As it is, you lose you starter like the Rams just did, and you've got zero backup. Now they'll have to add another guy last-minute, and he can't possibly learn the offense quickly enough without the benefit of camp. Or you're relying on a college guy you picked up just this season who may or may not have made the roster otherwise. It'd be a lot better if that guy had been with you two or three seasons so he at least has been through a couple offseasons and gotten some snaps in a couple of camps or with the practice squad for a bit. You don't want to see Vaughans and Tanneys out there starting when you could at least play a guy you bothered to stash and develop for a year or three.

A few names in that list I recognize. Nobody to rush out there and get, however.

Yeah. Usually teams do try to sneak through a couple guys in the first round of cuts that they're hoping get lost in the noise and they can sneak onto their PS. Hard to say if there's anybody who might fit that description in this group, but I'm looking pretty closely at LBs and DEs cut from the Bears, Bucs, and Seahawks, anyway.

I would look at Rob Jackson. Other than him, not much in this series of cuts.

All this talk about defense and the offense sucks too.

Has the meltdown started already...or guess I should say it continues...not you specifically, but just in general.

We have 2 weeks, let's at least see a few games first.

While Church and Wilcox are good enough, if the last few years have taught Dallas anything, it's that there is a need for quality depth.

You're looking in the wrong place if you want quality. Wilson was done a few years ago.

I'm waiting for the cut to 53. Most of these players are at the very bottom of the camp depth chart. I'm waiting to see what bubble players get cut.

It's the unexpected vested vets I'm most interested in at the 1 and 7 on the DL. We may find a bubble player as well. And in the long run the latter is most important.
