That doc is proof they should have replaced Brian Epstein when he passed away and not managed themselves. Paul was the reluctant manager and the one that we always thought was the serious one, John, was the clown. He really made that for me., I did a rewind for some of his lines.

I found John to be too much. Tolerated because he was talented. And they definitely missed a manager’s guiding hand. It sort of reminds me of Mike Tyson after Cus D’Amato and Kevin Rooney. No direction.

I've been around creative people most of my life and while they do not like being managed, they like managing others worse.

Def Leppard's a good example of that. As long as Mutt Lange was around they were on point but when he wasn't, they were lost and the resulting product reflected that.

I think all Marvel shows have good reviews, but the only one I binged because it got me from episode one was Loki. Haven't seen Hawkeye yet.

The timing of Ted Lasso was perfection. We needed a guy like him in the worst way and it heralded just being a nice man.

Personally, I could not get enough of that first season and all the while this nonsense is going on around us but there was relief for me, Ted Lasso.

I was very skeptical of the media reviews of that show given most of it during season one was coming from pro-Apple media sites, but like you I was really surprised by how good that first season was.

However, the second season was a rudderless mess with each week seeming like a whole new team of writers who had never watched the show came in and wrote a script for one episode.

I tried watching the second season multiple times but could not finish any episodes without fast forwarding and I ended up skipping some episodes completely, which did not even seem to matter to the overall story and that says a lot.

The only good part of the entire second season was the last 60 seconds and even that storyline makes no realistic sense to have happened in a one year time frame.

I was fully expecting Jason Sudekisis’ to be some snarky character. It was refreshing to see him ne something different.

I was expecting to see the stereotypical "arrogant American coach saves English soccer by coaching it like American football" story, but instead found it to be a more humbling and realistic storyline.

While the second season was very disappointing to me, the first season was quite enjoyable and worth watching regardless.

Watched Cowboy Bebop. I know some on here didn't like it but I found it enjoyable. Admittedly, outside of knowing the source material exists, I knew nothing about the show before I watched it.

Yeah I definitely agree. The second season was not as good. I still enjoyed it, but it just lacks something the first had.

Watching Hellbound now. Another Korean show. It’s worth a look for Thriller fans. Can’t wait for Peaky Blinders new season. That is a top 5 show of all time.

The dubbing is a bit tough but I deal. Squid Games was excellent. That show has stuck with me. I am into the Korean films. Parasite was great. The Host was great Sci Fi.

Good stuff. The Wire is a must. Sopranos was great just not my top. I will catch flack for this but I think the Leftovers might be my favorite of all time.

Dexter seasons 1-4 and the first season of True Detective is right up there too.

New and Last season of Lost in Space - If you enjoyed the first two season, you will enjoy this one.
And I think it was good that they ended it with the last season written to be the last season.
By that I mean they did not pull a Rome or Deadwood where they were cut off and one, Rome, tried to tie up the series and done a terrible job and then Deadwood where it was just dropped and years later made a movie to tie it up.

Gotten through the first three episodes of Lost In Space final season. I will be sad when I reach the end. The show is infinitely better than the original 1960's series and much improved over the 1990's movie remake too. Each episode format has been multiple dangers faced by each family member with "improbable" solutions conceived and executed plus everyday interactive commonplace HUMAN friction and love. And I extend that last part to Robot and Smith as well. Just a good, all-around family science fiction drama with the right mix of very good satire thrown in.

The young actor had a HUGE growth spurt. Not sure how tall Parker Posey is but she is looking slightly up into his eyes now, lol.
