One of the most interesting parts of that is how those around them treated the creative process and how they stayed out of it until they reached a point as George Martin and Glyn Johns did. They had to move it forward because they's get stuck because of their relationships.
Look for Alan Parsons in the background as the tape steward. He moves up fast to Johns' job on Abbey Road and then onto Dark Side of the Moon.
That doc is proof they should have replaced Brian Epstein when he passed away and not managed themselves. Paul was the reluctant manager and the one that we always thought was the serious one, John, was the clown. He really made that for me., I did a rewind for some of his lines.
I found John to be too much. Tolerated because he was talented. And they definitely missed a manager’s guiding hand. It sort of reminds me of Mike Tyson after Cus D’Amato and Kevin Rooney. No direction.
