Stranger Things 4

Best.
Season.
Ever.

I thought I would never enjoy a character's fate more than I felt for Hud (T.J. Miller) in Cloverfield back in 2008. That was before Jason Carver in this show. Definitely the highlight of my finishing the final two episodes today.

I'm with you on this one. I loved season 4!

I never thought Wynona Ryder was a good actress and she didn't bring her A game to "Stranger Things". If there is a season 5 it should be a single 2 hour movie to answer the remaining questions and bring the story to an end. And it needs to happen quickly. If they wait another 2 or 3 years to make it happen it will be a total waste of time. I think Netflix is milking this franchise for as much as they can squeeze out of it now, and it shows in the product they produce.

I mean don't we already know what will happen in the end?

Why all the hate for Wynona Ryder? Even in her old age, still cute as hell. I was watching Drunk History Season 1 on one of the streamers (Amazon?) this week and she was in an episode and did a great job. Funny, and cute!

Which I want to say, I can’t believe that Paramount+ owns Comedy Central and all they have is Drunk History UK and Drunk History Mexico. Can’t even get your own show on your channel? As a history lover, and someone who enjoys watching people lose their mind after drinking an entire bottle of liquor, it’s a great show! But yeah, going back to Ryder, the celebrity cameos where they try to act and repeat the drunk slurring is the best part.

She may be cute but her acting ability is not on par with the other actors on the show.

I binged the latest seasons of Mayans MC and Better Call Saul last week, I enjoyed both. Really Looking forward to the second half Saul's season.
I've been waiting for Mayans to finish up the season, so I can binge it on Hulu. Is the season over?

It ended a few weeks ago. I was waiting for the final episode as well to binge the whole season. This season focuses more on the MC and less on external characters. There's some SOA involvement too, so you have that to look forward to.

The season finale of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds put a smile on my face. Not a great ending for season one but a good episode that ties with one of my favorite TOS episodes, Balance of Terror--which only the nerdiest Star Trek nerd has even the slightest clue what I am talking about (so not a spoiler :p ). The cliffhanger has me eager for season two though.

Yeah, I'm glad they ended the season on a high note. A couple of those episodes toward the end of the season had me worried about the show.

Finally binged the last season of "Dark", it was pretty good. The subtitles are a little distracting but with all the twists and turns it helps to keep up.

The Boys: S3, E8 - Maybe the best episode yet. Some very cool and unexpected turns.
It might just be the mood I'm in these days, but the show is starting to lose me. I really liked the first two seasons but this one just seemed a little too much. Shock just for shock value I guess you could say. I can't stand a couple of the characters at this point. I won't say who to avoid spoilers.

There were some episodes that went beyond an adult sense of humor, for sure, but this episode was great.

I disagree. I do think they intentionally went hard in shock value, but they didn't sacrifice story or character development in doing so. They did it for some fun. and levity. The over the top moments were short and didn't take away from the overall show to me. I thought this was the best season. From the beginning they couldn't have asked for better casting and this season those actors really brought it. I'm already looking forward to season 4.

I’m just starting episode 4 but it’s really noticeable how little ‘super’ things I’m seeing from a show based on people with ‘super powers’. Maybe they’re saving the effects budget for later episodes, but again, it’s absence is noticeable.
