Amazon really has not done much. The Peripheral was good. But their good shows are few and far between. The Expanse was awesome but over. I am currently watching Vikings on Amazon. I am enjoying it although Season 6 lost me in season 5.

The Man in the High Castle was really good until the last episode. Bosch was a good watch and I really like Britannia which I believe has been cancelled. So they have some good stuff but one or two good series per year is not enough. I have prime for their free shipping.
Amazon treats their streaming like it's a perk for Prime members. Just enough good content but if it didn't have the free shipping, I doubt I would keep it year round.

And more than any of the others, they do not seem to stress seasons following the initial season be as well done. I found that with Bosch, Mrs. Maisel and most of the others. And Vikings fell into the formula trap, same plot, same circumstances, new locale. And what season 5 was all about is still a mystery but overall, I did enjoy it.

I would think them being one of the first internet based businesses and pumping AWS they would be better technically and I have more problems with them than any other streamer and I use a lot of streamers. Half the time I try and start a show and it shuts itself down and reverts to the initial channel.

Finished The Night Agent last night. It's basically like Jack Reacher, Condor, and about a dozen other shows in that vein. Honestly, it suffers from lazy writing and some bad acting. There are times when it doesn't eve make sense. Sometimes I think they don't actually have real writers for these shows. Instead they have chimps throwing darts at board covered with various plot parts and dialogue. If I had to guess, there won't be a season 2 of this nonsense but Netflix has surprised me before. I will be generous and give it a 5 out of 10 but it could be a 3 too.

Now, Netflix has confirmed that The Night Agent has been renewed for season 2 following its successful debut week. A short video released by the streaming platform reveals a release date of 2024 for The Night Agent season 2. The renewal underscores how the series was able to quickly garner popularity despite season 1 releasing around a week ago.

Not surprising but Netflix has cancelled better shows than Night Agent.

I don't know anything Reelz, but did a quick search, but appears YouTubeTV does not offer Reelz or On Patrol:Live.

YouTube TV

Can I watch Reelz with YouTube TV?

No, YouTube TV does not offer Reelz with the streaming service.

You have three options to watch Reelz online. You can watch with a 7-Day Free Trial of Philo. You can also watch with Sling TV and DIRECTV STREAM. Unfortunately, you cannot stream Reelz with Hulu Live TV, Fubo, or YouTube TV.

It appears you can watch on Amazon Prime, but it's an add on or Peacock Premium, both will cost you.

Started watching 'Bupkus' on Peacock. Loosely based on the life of Pete Davidson. Pretty good moments in the first couple episodes with a good cast including Edie Falco, Joe Pesce, Bobby Canavale and Brad Garrett. Definitely ridiculous and outlandish at times as expected, but still funny. 7/10

Haven't watched it but I think I’m just part of the generation that doesn’t find Davidson funny.

I do not see what others see in him either.
I did see a movie where he played an entitled rich kid that was a real turd. He did that well.
But just not seen what is funny about him on SNL and I never seen the movie he made.

Just watched A Man Called Otto. Netflix (?)

I liked it. I'm not usually a fan of semi depressing flicks, but there was some pretty cute subtle humor in it.

6.5/10
I watched this one on Monday night as well. It was a slow burn, but Hanks’ performance kept me interested. And I liked the peeling back the layers technique to ultimately fill the viewer in on the full story.

I’d give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Finished off the last season of Titans last night. I really loved this show. Bummed that it is over. They could have got a couple more seasons, in my opinion.

I need to watch Doom Patrol now. I watched the first episode some time ago but didn't have time to continue. I did enjoy it, though.

I am still amazed at how much I like the various DC shows I've seen, whether it was CW or streaming, vs. how much I could care less about most DC movies.

Yep, don't get it. And why people cared about his love life was a mystery as well.

But then I thought it was me because I do not find Will Ferrell funny either, he tries to be funny but he isn't to me.

But I also know some people who didn't think Chris Farley was funny but I consider them stupid. Oh, I know, it's all subjective but they're stupid for not thinking he was funny.

I liked Titans even though the quality waned from the first season forward in my opinion. What I might see as a negative is not directed at the core cast though. Brandon Thwaites, Anna Diop and Ryan Potter were very good as Robin, Starfire and Beast Boy. To me, Teagan Croft was a fantastic find as Raven. Some of the temporary cast members like Chelsea Zhang, who played Rose Wilson, were home runs in my book.

I guess what bothered me most were storyboard depth at times and the CGI budget. Take this season for example. Mother Mayhem is a well-established comics character but she was often projected superficially. She was just... there on the screen at times. Trigon, one of DC Comics most iconic characters, was very underwhelming. His special effects were really B-movie quality. The series finale was strong enough though. I felt bummed too and wanted more.

Catch up with Doom Patrol. Warner Bros Discovery is ending it after only four seasons also. The show is way quirkier than Titans but they picked very good actors for all the roles. In fact, I think Michelle Gomez (Madama Rouge) is the best scene-stealer of the entire cast. She has been great in everything I have seen her do. Loved her in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Same here, really liked Titans also, sorry to see it go. I really like Doom Patrol, more so than Titans, but like @DallasEast stated, much quirkier of a show. They did a great job casting the roles and the stories are out there a bit which makes it fun.

I have liked more of the DC shows than their movies also. The first two seasons of Pennyworth were great, but once they moved to HBOMax, there was a very noticeable change, budget, sets, story, dialogue etc took a dip. It's a lot darker, grittier than other DC shows, but also has some funny dark humor, great cast in that as well. Swamp Thing had so much promise, but got killed off after only one season. Sad, it was well cast also and surprisingly good effects and worth the watch if you liked the other DC projects.

Mrs. Davis - Peacock network - good gosh what a fun show. Guess you'd say it a Sci-fi comedy/action genre It's a fun trip, highly recommend. Might be a little too quirky for some, but I'm loving it. 9.5/10
