***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

But the show I'm talking about is on Netflix. Are you sure it's the same show?
Yes it is a show based on a George RR Martin novella. Syfy did the first season. Once done Netflix got the first season. Syfy cancelled it or did not decide on doing another season. Heard one reason was too much money and not enough viewers... Also heard they said it was a one off. Who knows. Some said that maybe Netflix will add seasons like it did with Longmire.

If you finish it and it appears to end completed and not a cliffhanger... Let me know.

They did the same with Expanse but decided to add to it. My son tole me to toght it through the first SyFy cheesy seasons that it will get better.

Animal Kingdom with Ellen Barkin. Only seen the first epi which is pretty disturbing.

Don’t **** with cats documentary. On third episode now! Good documentary, some people are just pure scum

Just finished The Witcher. Good show.
I've seen 4 episodes so far. Not as good as I was expecting, but better than the first two episodes had me thinking it would be. Episodes 3 and 4 start pulling it together and I'm looking forward to seeing what's up with the timeline.

Agreed and IMO got better as the story develops. The show intentionally jumps around without telling you but will make sense later.

Finished the Witcher - Was not bad but for some reason I think I built it up too much going into it and was let down some.

Lost In Space Season 2 just came out. I really enjoyed the first season and the second season was pretty good as well. I think I enjoyed it much more than the Witcher.

Don’t know if anyone has mentioned it already but I highly recommend Netflix’s reboot of Lost in Space.

Very interesting character and plot lines. You can tell Netflix spares no expense on this series because the sets are very detailed and special effects are done very well.

Comparatively, I was watching the Expanse on Amazon Prime and in scene they had a little girl that was in some sort of travel pod which in reality was a Thule cargo carrier. I was looling.

It has been mentioned, and yes, LiS is a very good show. The only problem I have with it is that there are all these "worthy" people on the ship, but the Robinson Family seems to be the only ones who can do anything right.

The Witcher was a worthwhile watch, 7/10, but if the guy's going to get top billing as a monster killer, I need more monsters to be slain. The first episode, right from the get go, started out with a bang and I settled in for a ride but then they got off on a tangent, character building. I am excited about the next season of this.

The Witcher is the main reason why I prefer the way that Netflix and Amazon drop a season, all at once. With the timeline jumps in The Witcher, I don't think I would have stayed engaged as I watched it in two nights so the players and time were fresh in my mind and it came to make more sense the deeper I got into it. And a very nice tease for the next season about the origin of Witchers.

The only issue I had with this was people knowing each others' names without introduction. But that's only a small issue, I am very forgiving when given the gift of monsters.

Was skimming across Netflix last night and came across a movie about Motley Crue called The Dirt. I don’t pass up anything Crue related, so I watched it.

Nothing earth-shattering but just a simple movie about them growing up, how they formed the band and the problems they got into. It is not a documentary but actors portraying them.

If you like the Crue, worth a watch

Oh, don’t watch it if the kids are around, maybe even the wife
If you like the movie you will love the book if you have not read it.

Enjoyed Lost in Space season 2. Was a little surprised with the way the season went but in a good way. Thought the way the first episode started out was going to be sorta how the whole season would go.

Yeah, me too. I thought it would follow the concept of the original series, and it may yet, but I like the direction they took it so far.
