I'm not sure how any of you can be fine with what Choice did, to be honest. It's not like we won't be playing these guys again in a few weeks.

The main issue for me is that for a guy that seems to pride himself on halftime speeches and all that, this is probably not the best way to establish yourself as a leader.

So i take it you are furious with Garrett right now too then?

It happens throughout the league. A lot of these players laugh at how upset fans get after losses.

Yea, and that's why we've been an underachieving, choking team for quite some time. Just pathetic.

Right, the equipment guy is going to be able to access Vick quickly with all the reporters trying to interview him also.

And, how do you know there will be time to get to Vick later? He has official media interviews, his team is getting ready for the bus, he may have a final game meeting before they leave Jerry World.

We're assuming a lot here.

Yeah ok.

Again, I've never seen it done once. Doesnt mean it definitely hasnt happened, but not ONE SINGLE TIME in all the games I've seen.

I stood there one day after the a game, when Tim Duncan was getting an autograph on Dirk's sneakers.

It happens all the time.

Really???

Trent Dilfer just said on ESPN that he has never seen anything like that ever before. He said the only player that had that type of awe and respect was the late Reggie White.

Please name me one other player this year that got the autograph of the opposing quarterback 30 seconds after the game ended. Since it happens all the time, it should be easy for you to name somebody.

OMG Ware was talking to the long snapper, and after Choice got the autograph, Romo was talking to Vick........ let's cut them. They should have punched them in the mouth!

no big deal.

classic overreaction on this board
No big deal? It just tells me how much of a candy arse he actually is. How little he cares about winning.

I can't believe some fans don't think this is a big deal. I agree 100% with the poster that said there's a reason the Pats and Steelers don't do that. This team should be sick, absolutely sick after a loss like that. Instead they are looking for autographs???

Be friends in the offseason, after a loss get your butt to the locker room, look at yourself and say "hey, what could I have done better."

I'm so sick of TC and the rest of the wusses on this team.

Why would he be furious with Garrett? Garrett didnt ask for Reids autograph. Its obvious Reid was pretty complimentary to Garrett.

Its was a tough loss, but Garrett had this team ready to play again, they played hard and took it to them. A few weeks ago half the pinheads on this board were dreading the Eagles coming to town. We played them pretty much even for 60 miniutes tonight.

I wasn't happy with it, but i know it wasn't worse than Newman giving up and letting Jackson spit in the face of our team DURING the game.

You sound like it's me or you asking for an autograph.

Guys get stuff signed after games all the time. The point is that it was very embarrassing for a Cowboys player to ask for an Eagle player's autograph right there for the ENTIRE WORLD TO SEE.

C'mon...you have to agree it wasn't the best judgment.

This goes to smarts again. Not a smart move for Choice who just got a break to be a job sharer at RB.

Do you go to work and ask your co-worker to give you an autograph. On top of that, as happy for Vick that I am that he has turned his life around and moved back into the limelight and be a darn good football player, this guy is an-ex con that is on your dreaded rival and you play them in a couple of weeks again? Hello?

I don't know. Not something I would do. He's not exactly 10 years older than Choice or anything either. Not like a Rookie getting Elway's or Marino's autograph or something like that.

Smarts and general winning attitude - just not evident in a move like that.

Too bad. I like Choice running the ball usually, but I just like smart, caring football players. This guy pouted a bit because he wasn't playing, justifiably, but him asking for an autograph at end of game suggests he doesn't deep down think he deserves to be on same field maybe?

This is so stupid. Newman was 10 yards away from him. If Jackson doesn't stop to pull his ridiculous 'look at me' act we are not even talking about this, he runs into the endzone without Newman having a chance of even touching him.

Stop.

He just lost a game to a divisional rival. Should his biggest concern be his ability to get a Ron Mexico aka Mike Vick autograph?

So what if he wasnt able to catch up to him after the game? Whats he losing?

I obviously have no problem with players shaking hands after the game and congratulating each other. That's sportmanship. However, that doesn't mean I wouldn't still want to smack the crap out of them (but wouldn't do it). As someone else posted, Roger Staubach, Randy White, Harvey Martin, etc. wouldn't have done this. Losing should make you sick to your stomach. It should hurt. The LAST thing that should be going through your head directly following a loss is "hey, this is my opportunity to get an autograph of one of our hated rivals". Maybe it's just me, but this is clearly a sign of some of the things wrong with this organization. It seems that losing doesn't really bother some of our players. It use to make me physicall ill. Guess people just aren't the same these days. Why should they be when all kids are given awards for just participating and are given a good grade because afterall, they tried. LOL:bang2:

Here is the thing, NFL players are oftentimes playing for teams who are not their favorite team. Fans have the luxury of rooting for one team for their whole lives. Players more than likely will play for multiple teams. Hell I bet if some of you had the talent to play in the NFL and you were drafted by the eagles, you would try to get Romo, Ware or Wittens autograph after the game.

Did you not notice Garrett yucking it up and grinning like a school girl when they met at midfield, or...?

If you're upset because of Choice not being upset enough at the loss then you should be upset with Garrett's actions.

For what? I didn't see Garrett asking Reid to autograph his drawers. That was sportsmanship. Choice acted like a 14 year old girl going after a pop star. If I were him, I'd be extremely embarrassed when I see it on TV and read about it in the paper. "I just lost a game, but I damn sure got a prized autograph. It was a good night".
