never hurt to try.
They will try. They will fail. And then they will release him as a post-June 1 cut.
never hurt to try.
Others said they would do it straight up....I just rode the middle and offered a third.
I think you've nailed it.Those expecting anything outside a release are dreaming...he may be worth it, but he wont be willing to go to who's willing to do it and Jerry (or Stephen) wont make him.
Don't worry. Romo's stock will keep going up. Teams will look around and see no viable options and not much in the draft.

And there in lies the problem.
He and his family are not going anywhere and if they don't significantly change their ways then any discussion we have on this or any other board is a wast of time and brain cells.
You can try to ignore the elephant in the room, but he's still in the room.
how about Hiring a real coach and then not meddle let the HC run things like Jimmy did.Change their ways how?
Romo took a beating here, both physically & mentally. Gave us his all & never got the respect he deserved for carrying this franchise on his broken back for years. I hope if/when he ends his career, he'll get the Super Bowl ring he should have had already & eventually retire as a Dallas Cowboy.
If no team offers a good offer, then they should keep him another year, they could make a mid season deal if they hang on to him. They will try. They will fail. And then they will release him as a post-June 1 cut.

Explain what you mean? I'm very curious but have no idea how it works. It's the evolved containment option for thread derailment material. Years of experience to figure it out. Can cut the meandering as it comes out.
Begone troll.
yeah I would consider that too, even give tony next year to see what he can do, and if he gets hurt or does poorly, just put dak back in.Yeah, that's what I'd do. The price to keep him this year is 5 million. The only thing you get by cutting him this year is salary cap space THIS year. But you're just shoving the difference into next year.
In my opinion, I'd let them compete in camp. No preferential treatment, best man for the job. Competition never hurt anybody.
He will need an outstanding OL more than anything. And if Tony does leave, he wont go to a cold weather team, and probably a team with a Dome.
I think he would want a team with good defense, and those 2 things narrow it down, so Texans look like a good choice as they
are also close.
But if Tony wants a payback scenario and is released, he could go to the skins, and then compete against dallas and dak lol.
That would be interesting !!
