Right now I'm thinking 9-7, and so playoffs would depend on the Wild Card situation shakes out and how the East shakes out; if the NFC is as strong as it appears, 9-7 probably wouldn't be good enough, but you just never know. I never would've thought 9-7 would be sufficient to win the East two years in a row, but that's just how it turned out the last two years.
While I like that we finally end the season at home, I do think our schedule is deceptively tough - the AFC West gets trashed, but I think SD and KC will be significantly better. There are very few teams on our schedule that are likely to be elite, but I see a lot of teams likely to be solid, and I don't see any of them being a cupcake game, other than Oakland and maybe one other team that unexpectedly bombs (hopefully I'm just wrong about the AFCW).
Certainly there have been things to like about the Boys in TC/preseason, but after everything we've seen in the Romo/Garrett era, I'm at the point where if you want me to believe you're better than a 9-7 team, then you just gotta show me.
