ya, except for when they dont, i guess you havent been paying attention to your favorite pro football team when you have failed to notice the cowboys get worse as the season progresses.

Your argument there is completely flawed, but nice try. Also, unlike with OU who big teams dont seem to mind playing since they know they will choke, Texas has had non conference teams pull out of agreements to play them because they are scared of losing, like Utah and Arkansas this year

Teams get beat up as the season progresses... so logically, if you face a team early in the season, they're more likely to be at full strength than they are later in the season...
