If it's a real off-season do over...

1. Do not extend Garrett.
2. Sign coach who believes that coaching improves teams, not clapping.
3. Lock Jerry in janitor closet.
4. Cut Weeden. Sign Tyrod Taylor.
5. Use 3rd round pick on Florida Gator Matt Jones and not on Florida Gator Chaz Green.
5. Use 4th round pick on Stefon Diggs instead of Damian WIlson.
6. Sign Hardy to 2-year deal instead of 1.

So Garrett winning 12 games wasn't worthy of a extension?

Schaub is terrible. He's worse than anything we got. In hindsight the backup QB should've been Sanchez, Matt Moore or even Hasselbeck. Heck even Luke McCown looks better than Weeden or Cassel

I'm not so sure. I think if Cassel had been here all offseason and through camp, we'd have been in a MUCH better position once Romo went down.

We're asking a guy who has been here just over a month to come in and win games in the middle of a season. Weeden has been here for a couple years now and had just above every Wednesday practice with the first team. It's already obvious that Cassel is better after only a month. That's ridiculous and we should never have been in that position to begin with.

I think Schaub is better than Weeden but I am not beholden to him. I'd take any of the 4 or 5 names being tossed around in here. The reason I brought up Schaub was the fact that he signed for so cheap (1mill) so he would have fit in nicely with our cap situation.

Stefon Diggs has been a beast in his 2 games. Is he returning punts for them?

*Looks at 2-0 record with Romo and Dez, looks at 4 straight losses without them......

Yeah I guess I can see that clearly it's Garret's fault they Romo and Dez are hurt.

I want a head coach who can find a way to win a few games even with valuable players out injured. Actually, I just want a head coach who actually contributes in a real way, not some made up pretend way. I'm dumb that way.

"We laughed at the Giants for the Harris contract but he at least put a win in their win column"
This. I was not laughing. One of the few I got right. His last year was not his best and most wrote him off however he has been one of the more consistent players we have had over the last 5 years. He was a beast on all ST units, he rarely gets hurt and his heart and desire to play football at any position cannot be replaced. His contract $$ (which was well deserved and costly) would have paid for itself as a veteran with all our ST units and another darn capable receiver esp. with what we have now.

Actually he got $3 million

The Baltimore Ravens inked Schaub to a one-year deal, the team announced. Ian Rapoport reports the deal is worth $3 million. Schaub did not start or throw a touchdown for the Raiders last season.

So you want essentially no one? What coach is going to win consistently without their starting quarterback and their best player on the team? All I ask is for guys to fight. To expect them to win without Romo is just not happening. Now if you want to get upset about them not having s Pro bowler behind Romo then fair enough. I'm not asking Garrett or anyone to win with Brandon Weeden. He's the worst quarterback in the league.

The truth is, in my mind, the reason Jerry won't bring in a legit back up, is because he wants no QB controversies.

I think your right but doesn't JG say that "they want and welcome competition at all positions"?
