Its no doubt the kid has cemented his spot on the roster. He looked really good running his routes today and had some great catches in the game. Another great thing was that Romo was really looking for him during the plays which says two things IMO that Ogletree has earned the trust of romo by his great camp of catching the ball and knowing his routes and that because he is running such great routes he was getting open quit a bit against a teams starting defense unit. You can tell that Romo is really fond of Ogletree I liked seeing Romo take the time to discuss the routes and plays with him on the sideline during the game. Hopefully we found ourselves a gem here that can hopefully only get better

Man he looked like a starter in the 1st quarter..:starspin

Romo said some nice things about Ogletree, leading up to this game. He could've scored a TD on that interception too. Bad throw by Romo.

yeah he did! He looked like he belonged out there and didnt really seem lost during the plays. I was just happy that the coaches rewarded him by letting him come in as the 3WR

Ogletree seems to be open a lot.you can contrast that with Stanback who is NEVER open.

If you had no idea going into this game about whether Ogletree was drafted or not, you'd think he was a drafted in the top 3 rounds this year (based on his pre-season performances).

yeah if Romo couldve just thrown that ball out to the outside of Ogletree it wouldve been a nice gain if not a TD

Here's hoping Olgetree turns out to be our Eddie Royal this year.

Ogletree is yet another indication of the level of talent evaluation in the NFL draft.

This guy didn't get drafted? Come on, he was highly regarded in high-school, produced very well in college (given the circumstances of his program), has very solid physical measurables, and just flat out looks like he can play the game given his chance.

Yet, for example, guys like Stanback and Manuel Johnson are drafted and he isnt'?

Makes you wonder how many guys are stocking shelves at grocery stores (or holding them up) when they are better equipped to be playing professional sports but didn't get the chance because the "experts" decided they weren't worth a look.

#85 won a spot tonight. He looked good.

Where's Manny Johnson. I like him, too.

it's mind-boggling how he managed to go undrafted

he's 6 foot, he's fast, smart

only knock he really had was a variety of injuries that he suffered in college, and wasn't ultra-productive

You'll never go wrong drafting WRs from UVa... :D

Injuries you can't help and he certainly can't be faulted for the QB debacle at the Univ. of Virginia (what a mess).

I think we may have gotten a steal with this guy.

Anyway, at least we know for sure who our top 5 WRs are now after this game.

A big part of the production problem was the UVa quarterbacks were just this side of gawdawful...

I'm not knocking Miles Austin by any means cause I really feel he had a pretty good game but why can't Ogletree be considered one of our field stretching WRs. The dude ran a 4.3 forty so he's fast and that play where romo under threw him he looked like he got up field pretty quick
