his 20 yard shuttle and his three cone really demonstrate his incredible quickness and change of direction, which may be way he is able to run such smooth routes. Coming from a big school, where he put up decent stats, I wonder why he slipped through the cracks. Very weird.

He was hurt for parts of his last year in school. Plus the offense was run oriented which affected his production.

In any case, he has yet to show that he plays as fast as he times. He has always been known as a good route runner though.

I love Ogletree.

not only was he injured but I also read where he had an attitude problem with some of the coaches who could not wait to see him leave. I am hoping that he makes it.

Which is the exact reason why I'm so sick of this team mainly going after the "big" receivers. You need a guy with his skillset.

We need a smaller guy for this purpose, and I'm rooting for Ogletree 100%.

That too. :D

His route running reminds me of Antonio Bryant, very smooth and clean. I'm not as familiar with Ogletree but I hope he continues the great work, if his hands are as good as they looked last week I think we're in for a real treat.

The good thing is that at 6 ft. and 196 lbs., he's quick and still not a small receiver. Nice combination of size AND speed.

6' is bordering on small for an NFL WR.

But he wouldn't be considered small like Desean is and like other guys are. 196 isn't small, and 6' isn't small. 6' may be close, but 196 isn't.

Hmm sounds like what happened to Marques Colston.

well 6'1/2 to be exact. And I think he weighed in heavier for training camp. But anyhow, from my perspective 5'11 to 6'2 is average for a NFL WR. So he is not small by any means, and he'll be bigger than most corners in the NFL.

6' and 196 is actually slightly above average overall for NFL WRs.

Scouts logic- He played at a big school and has good speed, but may not be a vertical threat? He runs good routes and has been productive at the college level. He demonstrated great quickness in his combine numbers and is average size for the NFL WR.

Nope not at all worthy of a low round pick, gotta look elsewhere, sorry?
