Miles has one great game, and suddenly, he is a #1 WR.

Let's see him do this a couple of times before we annoint him.

Meanwhile Roy has played his heart out every game, blocked like a mother and done everything any coach would ever ask out of him.

We need to start Miles...he earned it. But we need to bench Crayton and make him #3 WR, not Roy.

I don't disagree with this. Crayton made some gaffes today; Miles produced big time. Give him another shot; if he continues, you keep playing him... and he can stretch the defense (as well as Felix when he comes back). If he underperforms, you can always move him out of the lineup for Crayton.

I just want to see more out of this from Austin before I anoint him a #1 WR. He obviously has the physical talent.... and if he can put it together..... well, we could use some help in the WR department and this would be a gold mine.

No one is anointing Austin. Just saying his legend is growing.

However, you must be thinking of the growing sentiment at the Zone. If axed who'd they'd pick between Roy Williams and Miles Austin, easily 70 per cent would say Miles Austin.

...he's was great today but one game does'nt make a player...consistency does that...

and hes just as big, and strong as Roy, and faster

the only thing Roy has over him is Hands... imo

Well that's one more than RW has had in his Cowboys career. Actually Austin has had two really great games if you include GB last year.

...he can run through tackles and he has speed...his hands came good at the end today but lets see more of him against stiffer competition...

...Crayton has to be feeling some serious heat after today's performance...Austin needs more playing time to displace him though and that does'nt come only from 3 WR sets...

...health is another issue...both Austin and Jones need to stay on the field to grow with the offense...

Miles Austin has earned the right to start opposite of Roy Williams in my opinion... He's a playmaker that offense needs for sure!

If he continues this play, Austin will remain a Cowboy. No way Jerruh would let him escape.

2 young WRs; 2 young TEs, young stable of RBs.... to give to Romo.

Let's hope today wasn't a fluke.

Because that's some serious weaponry if Austin continues....

Agreed. Unfortunately for Roy, he has to play to the worth of his contract to earn any praise from the masses. It's not his fault Jerry gave the house for him. Is he a Pro Bowl No. 1 wideout? Not from what I've seen so far. But he's a guy I like having on my team -- especially if Austin develops into an actual threat opposite him. I don't think Roy's good enough to carry a receiving corps, but he is a nice piece.

hes going to say Austin has had more opportunities

and uh no...austin just gets open, and when hes not, he makes a great play..which =trust with him and the QB

dont get me wrong, i like Roy Williams, i dont want to bench him, just Start Austin along with him

Both are big, 1's faster and quicker, and is a play maker

the other is a great possession guy, that catches hard passes

they compliment each other

it would open things up for marty B n witten

i agree %100 roy is the number 1 but lets see miles do this against the divisional teams, and against tougher opponents.

all you have to do is throw roy the ball he does make the most out of his oppourtunities.

i do think romo just has that comfort level with the other guys because crayton is slow and so is witten and hurd is too. so he has no problem throwing to them.

those slants he threw to hurd at the end of the broncos game he can throw those to roy during the games all the time he can make those grabs and make plays after the catch.

just trust him and throw the ball to him

but definately start miles across from him, with miles and felix on the feild the speed is there, and roy and witten can keep the chains moving

*** are you talking about? How the hell is Roy Williams made a #1 without having any stellar games in a Cowboys uni?

Funny how things change, in the preseason most people were wringing their hands wishing we would have gone ahead and lost Austin to the Jets for that draft pick. Now he's the next T.O.

I wouldn't trade Austin, but I would gladly trade RW back for a 1st or 2nd rounder.

Hell I'm hoping RW gets back for the next game and have him and Austin lined up as the starters and Crayton coming in as the slot WR. I think Crayton has done better in the slot than he has when he is lineup to the outside.
