9 yrs for murdering your wife and friend. Not bad. Simpson is lucky.
Copy!
Weather you believe it or not,I saw on the ' escape' channel ( about recreated crimes) there was some scumbag white dude that was like a nation wide psycho killer who was placed in that particular area/ time frame as those murders and had pretty much owned up to the fact that he'd been robbing the house when they came home,,,or something like that,,(idk/ can't remember)

I think he killed his wife and Goldman. However, he went through our court/justice system and was found not guilty. He can't be tried for that crime again, which would be against the double jeopardy principle.

As for his parole, it was the right thing to do. The board cannot consider the murder trial or its verdict. If O.J. was a model citizen while in prison (and based on everything I've heard, he was), then he deserved to be paroled.

Actually, it's better for the Goldmans that he's out because they have a civil suit against him, and anything he makes, they can take. I heard this morning he receives $25,000 a month from his NFL pension. That's $300,000 annually, an amount that I'm pretty sure the Goldmans will go after.
As B said, and I want to reiterate, OJ's $20K/month is untouchable, Tyke. The Goldman's nor the Brown's will ever receive a dime of it. He's also accrued a very sizable nest egg while locked up, as he received it then (to further emphasize B's post).

It is what it is, my brother.

I bet he had some steep lawyer bills and he already had one house foreclosed on while in jail

One thing about OJ is he is never dull........ kind of like EE(just go sit down for a few weeks son)

Thought I read somewhere he gets a ton of money each month from his NFL pension that the Goldmans cant touch. What determines how much pension a player gets? Age? Years played?
The NFL Pension gives him $2750 a month depending on when he starting collecting(250 a year x 11 years played) but they said he invested up to 5m into a private pension fund and that is where the 25k a month number comes from........he also gets a pension from SAG

Florida had laws that his home can't be touched by judgements but he did foreclose on one home while in jail...... when released to FL he can buy a nice home and not lose it to the Goldmans

It's baloney. Simpson slaughtered them and walked away. Its not complicated. The Bronco ride told the tale. The state tried to even it up a bit by over convicting him on the bogus robbery/kidnapping beef.

The ex wife was a real slut and taunted him about it; but the kid with her at the time did not deserve anything. If he had just killed her I would have called it manslaughter make him serve 10 years or so. But killing that kid he deserved life. The way I look at it he about paid for her - but is a long way from paying for him.

Got it. The guy can be promiscuous and physically beat his wife; but if she sleeps around, its OK to sentence him to only 10 years for killing her. How long ago did you leave ISIS?

Hilarious:lmao2:
And although I'm coming around and liking @diefree666 a little bit more and more as the time goes by, he does come across more 'pointy stick' than ' rawhide and razor blades' the majority of the time:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
