i wasnt on this board yet....very few things I have said here have blown up in my face...

now if we draft Aaron Ross, Justin Blalock, or Brian Robison and they bomb...then that would blow up in my face.....

I was there with the Rob Petitti thing. I thought he was gonna be a keeper, at least turn out to be a solid backup at T.

I also felt Ross was gonna be a good player....

I wanted to draft both Rogers and Peterman...I saw both play in college on a regular basis and both were very good.......and they played for winning programs....so I felt they had what we needed.....

I was a Quincy supporter....I even told my friend who was a Vick fan that Quincy would lead Dallas to a SB before Vick led Atlanta.....The training camp that Quincy got cut, had he been on the team opening day, I would have bought me a Silver Quincy Jersey....I guess I rooted for him cause everyone else bashed him. He was the underdog and I wanted him to prove everyone wrong....I took it as a slap in the face the way he ruined his career and made a mockery of his supporters and fans.

I thought we would at least win a playoff every year since 1996. :D

Ignorance.

Well there is no way I would have thought that we wouldn't win another SB after Tony D's rookie season.

I actually liked when we picked Shante Carver. Thought he would be a sack machine.

Now, he hasn't enough money for the snack machine.

If you post on this board with any regularity you're bound to have one of your opinions blow-up on you concerning the Cowboys...

It's time to come clean and cleanse your soul! :)

Give us one instance of when you were wrong. I say just one because some folks like Hos would have to leave a post that would rival the length of "War & Peace". :D

I'll start things off...

I was way, way off on Rob Petitti. I thought the guy would be THE starting right tackle for several seasons. Even after the struggles of his rookie year I "bought" the company line that he was greatly improved, that his weight was down, that he had the grace of "Fred Astaire"... blah, blah, blah.

Boy did that blow up in my face.

I've confessed... now it's your turn--

Quincy Carter.................nuff said:mad:

I thought Drew Henson was going to be the next Troy Aikman. Had my doubts on Romo up until last season when he finnally played. I'm so glad I was wrong.

I was wrong about Henson. I'm glad Romo filled the void.

I also thought Spears would make more of an impact. Hopefully he will right my wrong this year (although Sarge may be right about him being a fat, lazy loser).

About every year I'm wrong about how good the team is. I belong to the Jerry Jones Optimism Club.

I was wrong on Quincy Carter twice: when we drafted him I thought he was going to be the worst quarterback of all time - he turned out to be an okay QB.

When he turned into an okay QB I thought maybe he could grow into a good QB. Well, we all know what happened there...

also I thought the Cowboys should've done whatever it took to trade up to get Mike Williams. He was a can't-miss WR, kinda like David Terrell and Charles Rogers.
:welcome: to the forum. Interesting name. Mitch Hedberg fan?
