OL is the primary problem

So, replacing Dak instantly helps the other issues? Yeah, Dak is sucking right now. No doubt about it. But, he's NOT the one and only issue. Please explain how replacing Dak helps Mazi and the rest of the DT's keep the opposing OL from consistently reaching the 2nd level. Please explain how replacing Dak makes the OL block better? I just wanna know how.
What’s the most important position on the field? From a player perspective, that’s where you start. You can put 21 all pros on the field and the top coaching staff in the league, nothing changes as long as Dak’s under center.

QBs running for their lives or on their backs do not usually get the balls to WRs of any kind
They don't have to run for their lives if they have WRs who can beat man coverage quickly.

It is exactly why a guy like Davante Adams is so valuable. He beats man coverage off the line, you don't need to block for more than 2.5

dude, when the O line cannot consistently give him that time then its not going to matter how good the WRs are
how anyone can claim to know football and keep insisting on this is truly bizarre

The point is that, by having WRs get open quick, you can compensate for lesser OL play. The passblocking standard is ~2.5 seconds - you don't need a great OL to hit that mark if there are players open. Good WRs beat man coverage quickly, that is what makes them good. It is precisely why Adams and Cooper just got acquired.

Sorry you don't understand modern offense.

- 32nd in Rushing Offense
- 32nd in Receiver separation
- Bottom 10 Pass Blocking OL
- Atrocious HC play calling
- Bottom 3 Defense

You seem to think this O line is giving him close to 2.5 which clearly is not happening consistently
you do not understand reality

Ok? You're making my point for me.

His average TT is only 2.76 and that includes scrambles and longer plays.

Ummm...Dak has performed and performed WELL when he's had a better OL and a run game. Those are facts (even if he didn't do well in the playoffs). So, again, just replacing Dak does NOTHING to make the running game or run defense better, no matter how bad he's playing.

2-5…nuff said. If you can’t see it, it’s the end of this discussion.

Because every loss is on him and him only...got it. When the Ravens ran for 274, that was all on Dak...got it. When GB scored TD's on damn near every drive, that's all on Dak...got it. Yeah, your right, I can't keep talking to folks that refuse to see that this team has a MILLION MORE PROBLEMS than just bad QB play.

How is the OL playing so badly?

Well, we have a career LG playing C.
A career LT playing LG (well, I might add).
A career RT playing LT.
A backup quality "Swing Tackle" playing RT.
An aging Hero playing RG.

It's a mystery.

What are Dak’s strengths as a QB? It doesn’t matter if you fix every other issue if he’s still under center.

For all I care, Dak has NO STRENGTHS!!!!! So, I'll ask the question ONE MORE TIME...does removing Dak fix your porous OL? Does it make the run game better? Does it fix your horrific defense? Yes or no? Like I've said MANY TIMES on this forum, I could've cared less if they let Dak walk and gotten a new QB. But, again, what is happening now is NOT due to ONLY Dak's play.

Two rookies, replacing a pro bowl center and HOF LT. Decline in play from a HOF RG, and an average at best RT. No running back good enough to apply pressure on the defense. Take your pick...
Pro bowl center that was too weak, and the HOF LT that should have retired 3 years ago!

I never said Dak was the only problem. Do you remember how this conversation got started? Jerry is the first elephant in the room. Dak is the second. Fixing the o-line does nothing if Dak is still the QB. How hard is that to comprehend?

Well that's not exactly true but it is also proven - over and over again every year - to be an unsustainable model.

Buffalo is averaging 27.5ppg a Washington is at 29.6. Seems like plenty as long as the defense does a fair job. Both are 4-2. They may evolve as the season progresses too, so there’s that.

Both have just propped up their scoring averages against terrible defenses, especially Buffalo, who has 10, 20 and 23 points (BAL, HOU, NYJ) in the last 3 weeks. The evolution is in trading for a guy like Amari - it is an admittance that they need more receivers because they know the offense does not function properly.

Propped up against terrible defenses. Swear I’ve heard that the past 3 seasons about Dallas.
