We just had a ton of rain, which is great. About to head out to pop's house here in a few hours. But I'm really just thinking about picking up the boy tomorrow and seeing his face when he gets his Christmas presents. Gonna do the presents at my dad's, then back to my house.

It was 90 degrees yesterday, great Christmas weather! Getting ready to head over to my wife's family farm to spend the day with the in laws. She's the oldest of 11 kids and there's over 20 grandchildren. Gonna be a long day.

This Texas weather is ridiculous, isn't it? Everything is wet with humidity and condensation, the air is sticking to the inside of my lungs. lol. We have been under siege by Wolf Spiders for days now, that's always fun, trying to kill one as it runs across the living room floor, while keeping our pomeranian away from it. lol. Some of them dad gummed spiders are bigger than my shoe! I was bit by a wolf spider one time, I sat on it and its babies. Carried the scar for years. It might still be there for all I know, it's in a spot that can't see. LOL

Stone is a fantastic brewer out here, Proof. Haven't had that mocha. A mocha IPA, interesting! Does it taste similar to a chocolate stout?!

no... not at all. it's got a wholly unique taste. I guess the closest (but still off) description I could make is a malty/hoppy brown ale

Did you pick up chocolate notes or was it just sugary like a brown?
