But Plummer’s playoff record isn’t irrelevant.
Its what “Stats” record was over the same time.
and Peyton Mannings playoff record was worse.

irrelevant to the discussion given its NFL from 25 years ago..... different era....different teams, different coaches, etc.

Plummer was better than Prescott. Has a higher career RSR to prove it.

Dak-fans trying so hard to find redemption in Andy’s performance, while Dak is below league average in QB rating with four minutes to go and a TD is needed. And this with all five of his starting linemen and a healthy Zeke.

but let me guess, Dak had his finger cut off and his shoulder was dislocated three feet from his AC joint when he threw for 44 times against a third string Eagle secondary to choke away the division, with all five starting linemen and a healthy Zeke who rushed only 13 times? Dak really carried us then, to the point he couldn’t even score throw for 2 TDs against a broken Eagles secondary that even Haskins did the game before.. I’ve heard every excuse, that even the Eagles defense was better than the Giants this year, though the Giants were the tenth ranked scoring defense and the Eagles were allowing teams like the Dolphins at that point in the year to hang 37 on them. Dak was given the ball on his own 45 yard line on the second to last drive and could only lead them to the Philly 31. We weren’t even threatening the whole game, unlike the Giants this game.

So much pressure there against the Eagles!!!

Dak ‘taking sacks’ with a top 5 OL, because of holding the ball too long is not the some thing as Dalton taking sacks with third string OL with the quickest release in football the last five weeks, because the OL can’t block worth crap or get any push. Only THREE QBs since week 11 have a quicker release than Dalton, and they are Big Ben, Ryan Fitzgerald and Tom Brady.

And in their last ten games, meaning when Dak left the squad, they’ve played with 15 five-man combinations at OL. You Dak-stans will try anything, completely ignoring reality.
Dak is awful between the 11:14 mark of 2nd quarter and 5:14 mark of 3rd quarter, in games played against AFC, north of mississipi in games starting at 4:00 PM...he is down right awful in those conditions...

first off dak did it with healthy team,, and secondly you must have forgot Pollard and zeke ut on show , the run game and actually better defense hammered the rams not Dak..

put this in perspective AD played with 3rd string OL, zeke hurt, , no Jarwin, and coaches and defense that constantly put the team from plays from behind..

what did dak do sown the stretch when absolutely needed? he folded like cheap tent...his last half of 19 was forgettable and his 1-3 start this year also..so with a healthy team Dak went 8-8 and followed it with `1-3 so -9-11

with 3rd string team dalton went 4-6? so about the same win%..

not saying Daltons better but lets get real here..
no Jarwin. OMG. stop the press. if no Jarwin, that was probably the worst offensive formation ever. I mean its Jarwin...JARWIN I said....I can't belive Dalton's performance with no Jarwin, can you imagine his performance with Jarwin. I mean after all its Jarwin!!!

The comical thing is, Dak against the Vikings in 2019 boasted the longest time to throw that week at like 3.2 seconds, while Andy beat the Vikings averaging 2.16 seconds to throw in 2020. That Vikings game where Dak folded like a cheap tent as usual is considered pretty much his best performance to date.

Andy wasn’t playing with the benefit of play action over and over and over again. This idea Dak would have survived in these conditions Andy worked with doesn’t find an ounce of evidence to stand on.

Play action wasn’t even feasible as a consistent staple in this pass protection and blocking.
the reason andy has a much shorter time to throw is because he dinks and dunks the ball, he doesn't go deep. its pretty typical of his career....he has no pocket awareness and often got easily sacked in longer routes and throws. his longest throws of the year were due to WRs getting a lot of YAC on thier own.

Dalton couldn't beat a 5-10 team with their starting QBs, but I give it to him, he was able to beat a bunch of 4 win teams playing their back up QBs....and got help with 9 turnovers....which was the difference in the game yesterday. he couldn't drive the team down the field if the defense didn't give him the ball on the opponent end of the field or score for him.

Dak is essentially Jared Goff, both of them completely dependent on play action like no other QB in the league, both of them having top 4 drops in QB rating going to their second progression. But Goff throws way more from the traditional drop back while Dak is better throwing on the run and ad-libbing.

neither are elite, both are pretenders that getting paid way too much.
you speak of play action as if its a bad thing.....and tell me what the drop is for brees, rodgers, etc. going to their second progression.

and most importantly where did you pull that false fabricated stat from...but I like the ad libbing and making up stuff. its pretty good. very imaginative.

Three of those points came when he got the ball at the Dallas 45 and in the fourth quarter, down 17 to 3. Like close to 80 of his yards came on the meaningless last drive.

At least Andy made it real, against pro-bowl Giants corners, not third string scrubs off the street. Should have won if Lamb decided to catch the ball thrown right in his hands without him even having the slow down.
wait andy made it real, you mean make it a close game with a chance to pull it out at the end, so it wasn't garbage yards,

but I have multiple posts from you, when dak made it close and made it a game at the end, you called it garbage yards.

which is it?

right ONLY missing his two tackles , ad had the enrtiree OL outside of Cwill and their backups to backups play, zekes got hurt, defense lost many guys etc etc yards dont mean chit without wins..

no but he was loser none the less 1-3 isnt better then andy and andy ended up with tidlewave on injuries', covid, far more as the season went on..

what happened last year whats the excuse for t sorry azz finish to 2019? healthy team for sure choked in the philly game, NE ,Bills, MN at the end come on...just being VERY honest and realistic..dont bag on backup qb and act as if he had chance with this team when dak himself couldn't win with it either,. A dig!!!!!??????
Dink and Dunk Dalton beat three teams with their back up QBs...he couldn't beat or compete against starting calibur QBs.....and any team with more than 4 wins.....well, except Minny of course...but then again....its minny we are talking about.

Against an equally mediocre 7-7 Eagles team playing with a MASH unit offensively. We lost to that slop. With our supposed franchise QB.
7-7 > 5-10....unless you are using fuzzy logic. and the team won the division. Andy got blown out twice...BLOWN out twice by the division winner.

If anything Plummer had it rougher. You could hit QBs then. And his numbers and playoff history is exactly Daks. Hell, his win-loss is better. Hang in there, Son. You’ll pull through this.
