Emmitt hands down for the offense. For Defense the Manster or Bob Lilly.

I know it's a different era different blocking scheme yada yada, but Jimmy Johnson was 24-1 when Emmitt ran for 100+ yards.

Say any player you bring makes them drop the starting #1 at that position.

Emmitt comes in, then you have to drop Pollard.
Irvin comes in then you have to drop Lamb
Troy comes in, you have to drop Dak
Haley comes in, you have to drop Lawrence.
Deion come in, and you have to drop Bland.

Thinking like that... who you swap out from the legends for our #1?
Emmitt...hands down!!

Emmitt?
Haley?
Randy White?
Ware?
Aikman?
Dorsett?
Irvin?
Erik Williams (the pre car wreck version).

Actually, the Goodell era NFL wouldn't let EW play his style.; therefore, specific to the 2023 team, Emmitt.

Can't have Haley without him first spending a couple of season being coached by Jimmy.

Randy White was super strong in the weight room but he played DT at 257 pounds. Now Osi is considered small at 290...

The 2023 team can pass, pass rush and cover...They struggle to run or defend the run consistently.

For me it’s a toss between Randy White or Haley. Imagine them rushing the passer with Lawrence and Parsons. Plus you could move Lawrence to Lb on the first 2 downs.

That would be my defensive choice. Run stopper and pass rush up the middle. #22 tho for the O!
22 is beast but he’d need the big uglies to block better. He had the best line in nfl history arguably

He made them as well but they were road graders

Aikman. Mr. Perfect in the postseason. He wouldn't be confused by cover 2. He would never wilt under the pressure. Even at San Francisco.
We have a quarterback that’s good enough about fixing the running game wouldn’t that be smarter?
