All I am going to say from watching the eagles and Washington play compared to how I have seen the Cowboys this season, the Cowboys are in for a fight! Now, I'm focused on what the Cowboys can do to spoil the party for some NFC-e team. Entertainment at this point...

So let me get this straight: you're more concerned about the emotional state and enjoyment of Skins fans than improving our team with the best talent possible?

So let me get this straight: Are you thinking a "real fan" would root for a loss this Monday to the Commanders?

I can't believe this place is rooting for a loss and a high draft pick, if we win Monday Night we're only one game back!

How is it? Always look at the bright side of life? We win several games along the way and we could get into the playoffs walking backwards, I'll take that any day of the week.

Let's go Cassel be the great relief quarterback that you once were, set the table for Romo & co.

I know. Its more awesome to get blown out in the 1st round of the playoffs, and have an injury prone 36 year old Tony next year with no future behind him. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

If you need setting striagt let me do it. What dod we do with the 5th pick in the draft in the last 20 years? How about the 6th, or the 9th? Tell me what any of those guys did for us? I don't have enough confidence in our FO for them to even get the top pick right if we had it. With that in mind, it doesn't matter if we are the 2nd pick or the 10th. Until JJ is out of the picture, we will never do anything very good. So yes, I'll take us beating the skins this year twice, cause long term the draft does nothing for us.let me remind you that In the past two decades we've been worse than Jax, Detroit, Cinci, Wa, NYJ, Ariz, ATL, Minn, should I continue? Oak, Stl, Tenn, etc. We are on par with Clevland and Miami and Houston. So the draft means nothing to theos organiztion. We could have given up every first round pick we've had and only had room to slip down a couple spots...So again, yea. I'll take beating the skins.

Only 1 game back of the #1 pick if they lose. Guess we're in a Win-Win situation boys

That speaks volumes to how bad the East is to be in contention for the #1 overall pick and the division title.

This Garrett led team has deflated any sense of care in how this season goes.

Three consecutive 8-8 seasons in previous years where a team led by him had a chance to get in the playoffs, and it was choked away.

So many times this season to "stay afloat" without Romo and it was loss after loss.

All I witness is a choker.

Why anyone thinks this will suddenly change now and Cowboys will overtake the division with a backup QB of all people is simply ridiculous. Yeah, it's possible...like a 0.0000001% chance is possible...but who really cares? I have as much a chance as winning a $200 million lottery.

You never know unless you buy a ticket.:D

All this hope when I'm constantly reminder that our backups haven't won one single game, not one, since 2010. Five years, no wins and we can somehow run the table?

Wish I could believe, but that's a star too far.

We're cursed. Lol
We'd be at least 3 games up...easily...by now, without the broken collarbone.
Just really crappy luck.

I look forward to watching that Cowboys paint dry tomorrow night. Should be fun...

I can't remember the last time we had 50% of our fans routing for a loss and the other 50% not really sure how to feel.

Losing 8 out of the last 9 games is inexcusable regardless of who was hurt.

Unfortunately nothing with change regardless of what happens the rest of the year.

You know no team would do that. That's an unrealistic expectation.

Considering Romo wasn't fully healed and took many hits in that Miami game that's exactly what needed to happen. ...but didn't now look Romo is out again

Not rooting just resigned to reality and the possibility of something better coming out of an improbable situation.

Who do you want to win the game tomorrow night? Cowboys or Commanders?

If I need setting straight.
First, JJ isn't going anywhere. So we might as well proceed on.
Second, though I have little confidence in this scheme, I do believe the better players we get, the better our chances of having a better record. It seems Jason Garrett's simplistic offense is predicted on having the better players, and the better players are generally found higher in the draft, particularly in the first round.
So, yes, there's reason to hope for a higher draft pick. And based on the evidence to this date, I don't believe the Cowboys, even if they beat the Skins, are going to do anything. Therefore, I really don't care how Commanders fans feel about losing nor do I feel sticking it to Skins fans is more important than improving our team through the draft. And the higher the pick the better.
