Only 1 game back if the Cowboys win

I know other folks have said this in one way or another, but its downright amazing to me that the Cowboys are both in contention for the NFC East title and #1 overall Draft pick this late in the season.

all I have to say after reading same old stuff

Go Cowboys, win the division.....I know no other way of being.....

I will focus on the draft once our position is more solidified.......I truly don't think picking 5th or picking 15th will make a difference.

Now if someone can guarantee them picking a QB if we get a top 5 pick. Then maybe I would think differently
But we know that will not happen this year. I seriously doubt they pick a QB in the top 4 rounds.
I will be shocked if they do. But I would hate any QB later than the 2nd round.

It's not that we don't want to win the division without Romo, it's that the evidence shows we CAN'T win the division without Romo. Let's say that we do, we're dead in the playoffs.

This team had an opportunity to win games without Romo but couldn't muster ONE win.

So forgive us for being jaded, but we've seen the evidence, and it doesn't favor a Romo-less Cowboys team.

Exactly...........this team has not won a single game without Romo since the stone age and all of a sudden Matt freaking Cassel is going to take us to the promised land?

Color me skeptical.

I'll watch the game;
I'll root root root for the Cowboys;
I'll cheer; I'll curse; I'll go to bed happy.

A win over the Skins is my favorite win of the year, playoffs or not.
A loss....I'll cheer myself with the thought that we will be drafting early and ahead of all division rivals.

go cowboys.....or whatever

7-9 will win the division. I'd say the Packers will likely blow us out. That means if we lose tomorrow it's game over.

If we lose tomorrow, the Skins are 3 games up with 4 games to play.....................virtually no chance to win the division, tomorrow is it.

If it betters our draft position and contributes to us being a better team next year, I won't be upset if the Commanders win. But I'm not going to be mad if the Cowboys win either.

Alright. I wasn't asking about how you would feel. I asked who you wanted to win the game. You won't answer the question.

Anyway, asks a Browns fan how losing games translates to a better future. They will tell you it doesn't work. :thumbdown:

Browns don't have out scouts or draft personal.

Considering we have to play at Green Bay and at Buffalo........both loses............what good does a win do tomorrow?

Beast? Who do you want to win the game tomorrow night? Cowboys or Commanders?

I know you believe the game is meaningless. That's not what I'm asking.

Who do you want to win?

It

makes me feel better. I'm fine finishing at 5-11 as long as both wins are against the Skins.
Bottom line....we keep losing no matter how hard the team tries or how hard fans root, so there's no need to throw games or root for losses--those are easy to come by.

I would like a week of talking about a playoff game and watching it, even knowing we wont have much of a chance to win.

But, thats not going to happen.

Lol at all the people comparing the Browns drafting over the years to the situation the Cowboys would be in. Name the last good QB the Browns have had. Don't worry, I'll wait. The reality is, Romo will be back. The Cowboys franchise QB that the Browns have been missing for an eternity. Are you going to sit there and say if Rodgers, Brady or Roethlisberger went down for nearly the entire year that they wouldn't benefit from a top 5 pick, added to their franchise QB led roster the following season? This is nonsensical fan talk designed to keep yourself from rooting for a loss or being ok with a bunch of losses.

I hope the Cowboys lose the next 5 weeks and I hope they have the top pick. That will be more beneficial to the team over the next 5 years than some meaningless win against the Commanders. The goal is a SB win. Not to get pumped up about beating the Commanders and finishing with 5 wins. THAT is what being the Browns is like. Hoping to beat Pittsburgh in a crap season for the feelgoods.

Is Jon Kitna coming in to start because that's the best chance we have to win tomorrow. My advice, don't do this to yourselves. Would a win make me feel good, sure, but at this point, i'm over it. Let's get this top 5 pick and find our future QB to groom.

I can't believe this place is rooting for a loss and a high draft pick, if we win Monday Night we're only one game back!

How is it? Always look at the bright side of life? We win several games along the way and we could get into the playoffs walking backwards, I'll take that any day of the week.

Let's go Cassel be the great relief quarterback that you once were, set the table for Romo & co.
Yessss! Competitive sports is about playing to win. Let's do it.

Wrong answer.

For you, maybe. But not for me.
Again, I've already become super numb to losing now. I was all invested in winning when Romo was out.
I was hoping that we could steal a game here, a gam there.
But we didn't.
Now you expect for me to get my hopes up and get emotionally invested in the Cowboys winning with Romo out again?
:laugh::lmao::lmao2:

Not gonna happen. I'm emotionally done with this team for this year.
If by chance we get to the playoffs, I'm still not going to be emotionally inveted.
Even if we win a game, I'm still going to believe we're playing on borrowed time.

Sorry if you don't like the answer, but it's the right one for me.
