Opinion: Bill Cowher The Next Head Coach...

The Cowboys should call Bill Cowher and make him the next head coach. Wade is a cupcake and Parcells was too hard. Cowher, the soup is perfect, would be perfect combo for this team.

Who is with me?

Bill Cowher resigned to move back home to North Carolina and to be near his daughter... why would he come here?

Even Cowher would cringe with BJ taking snaps under center.

Romo will be back soon-the ENTIRE PERSONALITY of this team is DIFFERENT with him. We'll be fine.

Millions of reasons.

When you have enough money, travel isn't a big obstacle.

The only reason why I would want Cower is he is available now. In the off season I would do everything in my power to get Jeff Fisher here. And no folks I dont think Red would be a good coach either, I think that would be camp cupcake 2.

Cowher HC
Phillips DC (Stewart sucks)
Garrett OC

I would love this coaching staff...

cowher wont coach this team, cowher said this team has to bottom out first. And as far as him coaching again, the stress is unbelievable as a head coach, and he would never coach again, he is happy where he is.

Again, at what point do you all start to look at the very players.

We had a HOF Coach in here and go 0-2 in the Playoffs and have some very bad meltdowns during the course of the season.

We then acquire another coach who is the exact opposite and he is getting similar results.

Like Bill Parcells stated on a radio interview in New York right after he retired, "Dallas tends to overrate their team" and the man was absolutely right.

I still think we're going with Garrett.

Just a hunch.
I like Garrett and would like him to be our coach one day. But, as of right now, he's not shown that he's ready now. I don't want anyone on this coaching staff as our next head coach.

I guess u wouldn't let ur players hit in practice, no such thing as to hard. Tiki retired from the Giants and said that Coughlin made then practice to hard... Cough, Cough, he leaves and they still Practice hard and win the SB...... If it's to tough get out the kitchen.... I hate prima donna players with no heart............

I'd love it cause I'm a HUGE Cowher fan but I just don't see a guy like that ever being willing to work for Jerry Jones.

I think he eventually becomes coach at NC State...

Remember there are not alot of 34 minded coaches available.

I will say this Cowher would whip this team into shape. If he brings Lebeau which I doubt could happen it would be wonderful.

Cowher is an absolute dissapointment as a coach. I don't get the hype. Outside of his 1 SB win, he never lived up to the hype. hell, they were the preseason SB pick many years he coached there, and many of those they stumbled into the postseason as a longshot wildcard, including when they won.

All that aside, it has been a well known fact for well over a year now that he will be the next coach of the Commanders. He bought a house in VA. He spent a lot of time for the last year with Snyder, discussing this very matter, and even told Snyder to let him enjoy his time off, and he would be willing to give it a shot next year.

I think it scares Snyder that Zorn is doing good, because he made it blatantly obvious that he hired Zorn with the expectation of failure, to replace him with Cowher.

If Bill isn't coaching the Commander next year, he won't be coaching, i can almost guarantee it.

For those interested, me and most Commanders fans despise Cowher. We would actually love what ever can happen to keep him out of Landover to actually happen, because we know he's a joke.

Cowher won a SB, got to 2, made it to the playoffs 2/3rds of the time, and averaged 10 wins a year, in spite of spending most of his time in Pittsburgh with guys like Kordell Stewart and Neil O'Donnell at QB, and in spite of an ownership that won't spend any $, not even to keep its own players.

Few coaches working right now can match his resume.

Cowher would never do it IMo, but what do you guys think of Spagnolo?

he turned down snyder he would turn down jones in a heartbeat also.

And no way jones hires someone on the same career path as garret.

Bill already has a job.
