Opinion: Garett coach for the Bills

Just a thought...

I heard from Adam Shefter...that the Bills might be intrested in Jason Garett as coach..

Would you like the idea of Garett leaving or still prefer him to be our OC.

For one, I rather he leaves becuase a good OC can do ever a better job with our offense.. than Jason G has done... However the past weeks the team has excelled in offense...that is why this would be a hard decision

I can't believe I'm thinking this, but Garrett has done a good job recently. Winning is the cure all, but beyond the Cowboys stopping themselves they've done some damage the last few weeks.

I don't think he'd take the Bills job anyway.

I'm not even sweating this as a possibility. Maybe we lose John or something if someone wants an OC and he moves on, but I think there is NO WAY that Jason Garrett is not our next head coach (and John becomes our OC). When you factor in Jerry, and the kind of people the Garrett's seem to be, what Jerry had to do to bring him here, it's unavoidable. It's GOING to happen, we need to stop even worrying about it.

I heard they liked Russ Grimm, and are just waiting for the Cards season to end to interview him.

Which makes complete sense -- Grimm has been talked about for a long time as a HC candidate, and he has the kind of blue-collar, tough guy image that would play perfectly there.

Remember, Shefter is the guy who said we were interested in Vick, too.

Jerry didn't pay Garrett like a HC and title him assistant HC for nothing. Garrett is going nowhere.

I think Garrett is probably heating up as a prospect again. I'm back on the JG bandwagon, so I'd like to see him stay as OC. But he probably sees the writing on the wall and has learned his lessons from the past: Wade will be back in 2010 (I think), and if you get an offer as HC when you're hot, you'd better take it before you cool down again.
