Opinion: If we don't win out-we aren't getting in

It's not very encouraging. Only way we get in is if one of the following 4 teams finishes w 10 wins

Cardinals - already at 10. Must lose out. Unlikely

Lions - need to lose vs min or @chi. Probably best chance and still not likely.

Eagles - have to lose to us and @was or @ny...maybe

Seahawks - need to lose 2/3...very unlikely

I don't see any of the above happening...we need to win 12 games to get in

It is completely possible the Lions lose to CHI or MIN. I think that's our best option.
I can't see the Eagles losing to WSH or NYG. They still could, though.

Az could go 0-3. They play good defenses.

Not true at all. Dallas can get 11 wins if the colts play they way they are.

Unfortunately, the 49ers look like they're coming apart. They barely beat the Giants and Skins, and then got beat soundly by Seattle and Oakland in the last 4 weeks. I think the Cards beat them to at least get to 11 wins.

Yes, of the 3 teams on their schedule, I think the 9ers might falter too. But honestly, it's no guarantee.

The NFL is a week to a week league so who knows what can happen every week. I wouldn't be surprised to see SF go out and beat Seattle next week or Lions to lose against CHI. ARZ could definitely lose out, they don't have a easy schedule (@ STL is not a easy game and matchups with SEA and SF). Anything can happen, but most importantly ... we control our own destiny. We can win these next three games and if we do that, we win the division and have possibly a first-round bye.

If we have to win out to make the playoffs, then this likely just isn't going to be our year. We very well could be with the slew of other 10-11 win teams watching from home. Meanwhile in the NFCS.....

NYG is a very dangerous team, after today's win I think they have some juice left and are fixin to spoil someone's chances of making the postseason.

The seahawks don't need to lose 2/3. We have the tie breaker if we both end up with 11 wins. Just can't be another team tied with us.

the problem is that there will likely be as many as 4 teams with 11 wins, then head to head is meaningless
