TIEBREAKER
Philadelphia is ahead of Dallas in the NFC East based on head to head (1-0).
Seattle and Detroit are ahead of Dallas based on conference record (Lions' 7-2 and Seahawks' 7-2 to the Cowboys' 6-4).

If you get 10 or 11 wins and miss the playoffs I think you say its a good season. Figure out how to make your team better and hope you can win those 10 or 11 games again next year.

To guarantee us a spot we need to win out, and that has a reasonable shot of us getting the #2 seed. If we go 2/3 and that win is against Philly we have a shot at the division but need help. If we go 2/3 and lose to Philly then we're in the pool of wildcard teams which means that we probably miss the playoffs, based on tie breakers and the very divided conference this year and a sub 500 team getting in as NFC South Champs. Win 1/3 and you probably stay at home with 10 wins.

Go ahead and prove that it isn't true...bc you are wrong

LOL at this guy. You must have trouble counting. There are 3 games left for every contending in the NFC and each one has 3-4 losses. There's you FACTS and PROOF that a wild card is still possible. Now go away bc you don't know what you are talking about.

I understand this is a message board but way too much over thinking going on. We just need to win next week or none of this really matters right? The NFL is week to week. I promise you there will be a shocking upset or two over these last few weeks.

It's not very encouraging. Only way we get in is if one of the following 4 teams finishes w 10 wins

Cardinals - already at 10. Must lose out. Unlikely

Lions - need to lose vs min or @chi. Probably best chance and still not likely.

Eagles - have to lose to us and @was or @ny...maybe

Seahawks - need to lose 2/3...very unlikely

I don't see any of the above happening...we need to win 12 games to get in

Very likely the Cards lose out. Rams on a short week road game, Seattle will smash them, on the road at the 49ers

Important games for the Cowboys left
at Philly
vs Colts
at Skins

As far as other teams
Seattle
vs Niners
At Zona
vs Rams

Green Bay
At Bills
at Bucs
vs Lions

Detroit
vs vikings
at Bears
at Packers

Zona
at Rams
vs Seattle
At Niners

Philly
vs Cowboys
at Washington (Saturday)
at Giants

As you can see there's at least one loss for both the Seahawks/Cards and Packers/Lions. I'm thinking that you probably actually want Seattle to win the West, as I think its more likely the Zona loses more games then Seattle does. I think the Lions probably get to 11 wins. I think the Seahawks and Cards probably get to 11 wins. That combined probably means that we miss the playoffs this year unless we win out, which probably gives us the #2 seed, as we would be tied with Seattle, most likely, and own the tie breaker.

Dont know if lions or cardinals will get to 11.

Arizona will probably be favored over a reeling SF team and Chicago is without Brandon Marshall thanks to Barry Church, and Detroit gets the Vikings at home where they have been outstanding. It's highly likely that both AZ and DET get 11 wins.
