The next coach for the Dallas Cowboys will be Bill Cowher. Already a 3-4 guy, who is in his last year in Pittsburgh. Jerry Jones likes the "sexy" names too.

sexy name + football =:ralph: :ralph: :ralph: :ralph: :ralph: :ralph:

Bring back Jimmy Johnson Petition

1. R. Bullard
2. T. Eddy
3. B. Parcells

Is Norv coming with him? :lmao:

The only way Jimmy would have any real success is if he could bring back Norv and a couple of his other assistants (not Campo or Zimmer though).

I believe this is what is keeping Parcells from being successful right now, his assistant coaches are nowhere near the caliber they used to be in his other coaching stops.

Not Weiss....we've got enough under producing Golden Domers already....no offense JJ.

Seriously? Have you not been pleased with him this season? He is on pace for a VERY nice year...

I want Chan Gailey back, and then maybe every time Buck and Aikman do the broadcast Troy can tell us how he was able to get Chan fired the first time by constantly going behind his back to whine to Jerry. :D

Anytime anyone has brought up the idea of Jimmy returning I have always immediately thought they were living in a fantasy world - that it wasn't even possible. I've reconsidered .......

Jerry Jones is not above making a grand statement, and what better statement could he make about his commitment to winning than to hire Jimmy again?

And Jimmy has enough ego that I could see him wanting one more opportunity to prove how good he is. Plus, the competitive fire isn't so hard to put out.

And Jimmy could likely return with much of the control that he wanted the first time. Obviously Jerry will be involved no matter what, but Parcells set the standard by coming to terms with Jerry about who makes "football decisions", and Jimmy could do the same. Jerry is older and a wiser about such things and knowing where his bread is buttered than he was in the early 90's.

I still think it's unlikely, but far from inconceivable.

How bout Jim Mora.

If anything, the press conference would be great. His comments on NFL Network about TO are dumb, I would love to hear him if he had TO on his team.

Playoffs!?!!?! Playoffs??!! TO??!?!? TO!?!?!

God he sucks, lol. Funny as heck though, I would lovvvve to see that clip with him talking about the playoffs with his team, if anyone has that clip out there, ppplease post it, I would love to get a good laugh today.

Playoffs?!?!?!!

hahaha

Why is everyone wanting JJ back so badly? I loved him in the day, but that day has come and gone. JJ showed what he could do with FA & a salary cap in Miami. I was not very impressed personally & I don't see any Herschel Walker trades coming anytime soon either.

I like Jimmy, but he's 63 and I'm looking for a long term. Fisher is the man:)

Fisher is a good coach, no doubt. He just doesn't excite me. He puts out good solid teams that are always competative, but they just don't seem to be inspired or full of energy and excitment.

He just strikes me as a guy who would keep us at about the level we are now - a good team but needing to get over the hump to being a great team. I'm not sure he can get us over that hump.
