I started this thread last year and people laughed me out of here. I still stand by that sentiment. It's going to happen.

then explain all those commercials with head coaches doing the beer press conferencesbudsboys;1087899 said:i don't think jimmy would be aloud to coach , by nfl rules if you do a beer commercial. you're not aloud back in the nfl. if i'm not mistaken thats what kept elway from retuarning after his retirement .but not 100% sure.

how bout them dolphins..just doesnt sound right...chinch;1088013 said:i think jimmy pt II would be a colossal failure here.
he's not young, not particularly motivated to coach based on his own words... just looking for a plum job (like he wanted to take over for Shula) on the sidelines.
"HOW 'BOUT THEM COWBOYS" yelling won't win many games (see Dolphins).
hes far removed from college and remember this guy wasted a #1 overall on steve walsh via supplimental draft.
also doesn't have the horses, draft picks, walker trade, etc. tilting in his favor... has FA/cap to contend with too. dont' think charles haley would fall in his lap either.

Stautner;1088024 said:Jimmy didn't take 3-4 years to build the team the first time, and he started with a hell of a lot less talent than we have now.
Doomsday101;1088034 said:That Walker trade helped quite a bit not to mention having the overall #1 in his 1st year where Dallas selected Aikman. Jimmy did do a very good job and deserves credit but those 2 things I mentioned had a lot to do with how quickly this team got back to the top
