If Boise lined up against Oregon they would probably win.

:laugh2: :laugh2: Haha Boise State.

Please tell me the one legit top 10 team they played and beat this year? Anyone?

That is why Oregon is #3.

Boise needs to do a wee bit better w/ scheduling.

New Mexico State < Stanford by FARRRRR.

I don't understand why thats so hard for people to recognize.

Stanford would kill Boise and Oregon just handed them their ARSE.

That Oregon offense is REDONKULOUS. The duck QB is a freak.

Boise doesn't deserve anything for that putrid SOS they put together. VT is NOTHING this year.

Don't be surprised to see them drop again next week.

If Boise had it their way they would have tougher teams but tougher teams don't want none.

I don't know what the outcome in the game would be between Boise and Oregon, who know we may find out should they face off is a BCS game. I do know that Boise has a legit program who when faced with top contenders has won so I take nothing away from Boise but I also think Oregon has earned the right to be ranked as they are.

You live in a cave or something? It's well known that bigger schools wont schedule Boise because they have everything to lose and nothing to gain from a perception standpoint.

Boise tries but nobody accepts.

Get in a different, better conference and maybe things will change.

BSU would be a great addition to the Pac 10, but nobody's gonna take those jokers if they keep that blue turf.

BSU can beat anyone on any given day, but anyone can beat BSU on any given day.

They look great in the WAC, but IMO they would be a 4 loss team year in year out in a power conference.

Again, they're the type of team that can win against anyone, but they are so beatable it's not even funny. They just don't play more than one decent game per year, and nobody wants to travel to that joke blue turf. I know it seems petty, but nobody wants to play against a team that literally blends in with their turf. It's just a joke all around.

BS doesn't bring anything to the table. I strongly disagree w/ your comments and "so-called" football insider information w/ how these schools schedule each other.

Catch is in the know?

Tell them to grow a pair and find a new legit conference to play in. Call the PAC 10, like everyone else. If they had room for the Big 12, they should have room for the JUGGERNAUT BS. :p:

Shafted for what? For playing garbage teams through the majority of their schedule?

Give me a freaking break.

Boise State offered to pay their own way to any top ten team to play at that team's stadium. No one responded. Since SEC teams regularly pay 500k for cupcakes, what do they have to lose by having a team come to THEIR stadium and pay their own way, and not demand a home and home format?

Catch gathers all of his information in a place called the Keetoniez cavern. I've heard it's like a wilderness in there with all types of different exotic animals. :D

Nebraska made Boise a two for one offer and Boise turned them down.

Do you EVEN UNDERSTAND CONFERENCE PLAY and how important it is in the rankings? Does BS have 500k to play all the top 10 teams? I think this escapes youuuuuuu. Having a strong conference kinda HELPS, wouldnt you say?

BS needs to scream at the bottom feeding halibut in it's conference.

Go look at that SOS this year for the Broncos. Seriously??? SERIOUSLY??

And BS wonders WHY it is what it is for the smurfs?

Several high-profile programs have turned down a chance to play a home game against Boise State in 2011, WAC commissioner Karl Benson said Tuesday.

Boise State - with help from ESPN, Benson said - has been shopping for a game to fill out its 2011 schedule.

Benson isn't sure of the exact number of schools that have said no, but figures it is close to 10. The Broncos aren't asking for any games in Boise in return, he said.

"They're running into a situation where nobody will schedule them, nobody will take them," Benson said.

Boise State athletic director Gene Bleymaier wasn't available for comment.

The Broncos have seven home games and five road games scheduled for 2011, but don't have a Bowl Championship Series-conference opponent. Bleymaier wants to add a BCS road game as the 13th game to fix that hole. The other nonconference opponents in 2011 are Utah, Tulsa and Wyoming in Boise and Toledo on the road.

Benson also said the WAC has hired an Idaho public relations firm to do some research and arrange media interviews to help push Boise State's BCS case. The WAC also hired a public-relations firm to push for Hawaii's inclusion in 2007, he said.

"We're trying to establish a message," Benson said.

You're right. Better to screw the small school in such a case.

Even though the small school has beaten a top 10 as well and beat the team that jumped them last season.

You placing too much emphasis on VT being a top 10 team at the time they played. VT is not a top 10 team now and won't be after the regular season is over. VT may not even be back in the top 20 team by the end of the regular season and when the bowl games are set.

The system is broken. The vast majority of people know this. It is obvious. The only ones that don't think the system is broken has monetary ties to the BCS. Still, that doesn't mean Boise deserves to play in the national championship game. It just means the system is broken.

I would love to know the schools who supposedly turned them down. Post that stuff up and watch the internet burn up.

Just coming out and saying "at least 10", w/ no named shcools being singled out just kinda leaves it open to w/e speculation people want to think.

Thats kinda hog-wash in my book w/o naming the schools and the AD's who turned them down.

lmao @ anyone who is comparing Boises victory over VT and Oregon St over Oregons schedule..

Not only does Oregon also have to play Oregon St and on top of that Oregon has them on the road while Boise got them at home...On TOP of that Oregon ALSO has to play USC, Arizona, and Cal..

You guys are insane if you think Boises resume is even remotely close to Oregons..Oregon has a much tougher schedule AND they have been far more impressive in their wins in said big games...Boise snuck past a terrible VT team and Oregon BLEW out Tennessee AND Stanford

With ALL of this being said, it is FAR too early to be complaining..MOST of these teams WILL lose before it is all said and done and dont be surprised if Oregon is one them

I doubt the WAC offical is making it up, but none the less when Boise has faced top teams they have won and if they continue to win they will once again get a chance to play a BCS game

I agree that Oregon went out and beat the #9 team that is why they jumped over Boise and rightfully so.
