Dallas;3598739 said::laugh2: :laugh2: Haha Boise State.
Please tell me the one legit top 10 team they played and beat this year? Anyone?
That is why Oregon is #3.
Boise needs to do a wee bit better w/ scheduling.
New Mexico State < Stanford by FARRRRR.
I don't understand why thats so hard for people to recognize.
Stanford would kill Boise and Oregon just handed them their ARSE.
That Oregon offense is REDONKULOUS. The duck QB is a freak.
Boise doesn't deserve anything for that putrid SOS they put together. VT is NOTHING this year.
Don't be surprised to see them drop again next week.

Nobody wants any of Boise State.....OKKKKKKKKK !!!!
You know this how? You sit in w/ all of these AD's when scheduling is going on? You know for a fact top programs are just shaking in their shoes because big bad BS wants to play them?
:laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: Ok I gotta stop, im hurting a rib.

Boise tries but nobody accepts.

Give me a freaking break.
CATCH17;3598856 said:Boise State offered to pay their own way to any top ten team to play at that team's stadium. No one responded. Since SEC teams regularly pay 500k for cupcakes, what do they have to lose by having a team come to THEIR stadium and pay their own way, and not demand a home and home format?

Even though the small school has beaten a top 10 as well and beat the team that jumped them last season.
Doomsday101;3598865 said:Several high-profile programs have turned down a chance to play a home game against Boise State in 2011, WAC commissioner Karl Benson said Tuesday.
Boise State - with help from ESPN, Benson said - has been shopping for a game to fill out its 2011 schedule.
Benson isn't sure of the exact number of schools that have said no, but figures it is close to 10. The Broncos aren't asking for any games in Boise in return, he said.
"They're running into a situation where nobody will schedule them, nobody will take them," Benson said.
Boise State athletic director Gene Bleymaier wasn't available for comment.
The Broncos have seven home games and five road games scheduled for 2011, but don't have a Bowl Championship Series-conference opponent. Bleymaier wants to add a BCS road game as the 13th game to fix that hole. The other nonconference opponents in 2011 are Utah, Tulsa and Wyoming in Boise and Toledo on the road.
Benson also said the WAC has hired an Idaho public relations firm to do some research and arrange media interviews to help push Boise State's BCS case. The WAC also hired a public-relations firm to push for Hawaii's inclusion in 2007, he said.
"We're trying to establish a message," Benson said.

Just coming out and saying "at least 10", w/ no named shcools being singled out just kinda leaves it open to w/e speculation people want to think.
Thats kinda hog-wash in my book w/o naming the schools and the AD's who turned them down.

GloryDaysRBack;3598874 said:lmao @ anyone who is comparing Boises victory over VT and Oregon St over Oregons schedule..
Not only does Oregon also have to play Oregon St and on top of that Oregon has them on the road while Boise got them at home...On TOP of that Oregon ALSO has to play USC, Arizona, and Cal..
You guys are insane if you think Boises resume is even remotely close to Oregons..Oregon has a much tougher schedule AND they have been far more impressive in their wins in said big games...Boise snuck past a terrible VT team and Oregon BLEW out Tennessee AND Stanford
With ALL of this being said, it is FAR too early to be complaining..MOST of these teams WILL lose before it is all said and done and dont be surprised if Oregon is one them
