I felt that way the minute we completely ignored the RB position in free agency.

It feels eerily similar to when Jones decided to ignore the OL in free agency following the Minnesota playoff loss and we lost Romo the following season.

Our chance for a title was last year. This year not so much.

Knee braces.

On cornerbacks.

Yes, that makes sense to prepare them for how things will go in the regular season.

Yeah, nobody wants to be slowed by the knee or ankle brace, and it does limit quickness.
But for all the battering that the big uglies take, the braces for them have actually been tolerable and protective.

I see these injuries even in the best knee braces sometimes. It's just a sudden deceleration shearing action that's ultimately difficult to protect against.

Need an exoskeleton.

I'll come back and say every time that when healthy, Lee is our best defensive player, top three at his position in the league, and a leader on the pitch. Scandrick is a really good slot corner that didn't have much of an impact in the final game of last season. Lee is a turnover machine.

That I disagree with. Lee will have more ints then Scandrick anyway and Lee is the leader of the entire defense not just one part like Oscan. But I do agree this is a huge blow. What a crappy way to end an otherwise good day

The INTs are irrelevant.

Not busting coverages is important in a passing league.

The loss of Scandrick weakens the team. No question there. However, the fact they aren't relying on Sterling Moore as a replacement says something about improved depth.
