Carr/Claibrone are terrible. Patmon is unproven.

Scandrick was leader of that defense. Secondary followed him.

Huge loss.

Scandrick is an average starting CB, Carr was better than him down the stretch last year. He was a little bit more consistent than Carr, but he was always overrated on this board simply by being the tallest midget.

He hasn't looked good in camp, and I wonder if his knee soreness was in the same knee and this was doomed to happen. I like Oscan's tenacity, but he's probably the 9th/10th/11th most valuable player to our team's chances at this point. In my humble opinion.

Scandrick was having a lousy camp and preseason.

Not to diminish the player, but seriously, he was not on his game.

If he is indeed lost for the season, it will hurt, but from some of the reactions on this board, you would think we lost Romo, Dez, and our starting online to season-ending injuries on one play. Lots of teams around the league are losing starters. No disrespect to Scandrick and I hope it's not as serious as we fear, but I will not toss the season or lose sleep over losing him, just being honest. The team just needs to freaking adapt an overcome.

I have no idea what you just wrote, but it doesn't sound good.

My friend blew his ACL, the doctor had him bend his knee and pulled on his lower leg. It moved while the upper leg didn't and the doctor knew instantly that his ACL was torn.. Pretty sure that's what he's talking about.

Damn We're gonna miss Scandrick's ability to blitz out of the slot too. Scandrick was our go to guy to cover the Randal Cobb's and Odell Beckham's. Hopefully the pass rush can dominate so we won't have to worry about the corner's.

This sucks, no doubt. Absolutely terrible news.

From a football standpoint, I feel we can weather this injury better than at other positions.

Carr is still solid. Claiborne is having his best camp ever. Jones is proving to be a very good player. Patmon has really come on. And White has been quite a find.

I think we will be ok.

Speaking about 1, 2.. and 100 is still misogyny. The fact you don't think it is, says a lot about why this discussion is even occurring.

I forgot how we have to label everything these days to make it exempt from criticism. The fact you feel the need to be so defensive over some harmless message board comments and get instantly worked up over them speaks volumes about you. Keep lashing out, it's really a good look.

Not good at all, man. The ACL provides stability to the knee and the ligament essentially serves to prevent the tibia (shin bone) from coming too far out in front from the femur (thigh bone). The Lachman's test is basically just pulling on the tibia and seeing how it moves forward with a suspected ACL tear.

God I hate preseason...

I find it odd that you would think a team could just roll into the season with no practice. Unless you are making a general comment about the preseason completely unrelated to this thread, which would be equally odd.
